CELERY JUICE FOR 30 DAYS & WHY I SUDDENLY STOPPED

I juiced celery first thing in the morning on an empty stomach for 30 days. Loads of people are trying this and experiencing amazing benefits. Is there any explanation for this? Did I feel any better? I'm curious to know if any of you out there have tried celery juice. Let me know your experiences in the comments!

  • Jay C says:

My partner suffers with eczema and she uses juiced celery every day and noticed a great improvement over time with her skin.

    • Simnett Nutrition says:

That’s incredible! The only change was the celery juice?

    • Jay C says:

Well, we eat pretty clean most of the time and pretty much vegan anyway. But, she read a book called “medical medium” by Anthony William and he goes on about the healing properties of celery and how there is very little study out there about it. It all sound’s a bit mad when you read about it but it seemed to work.

    • Jay C says:

Apologies. I kind of skipped to end if the vid too keen to see what your conclusion was and missed your intro. Lol. Damn.

    • Faith Hope says:

Collagen / C will detox you also it’s making me feel younger too

  • Rachel Nogard says:

Ive only been having celery juice in the morning for 2 weeks and my scalp psoriasis is dramatically improved. I had patches along my hairline and all over my scalp making for a very uncomfortable, itchy and flakey scalp and I haven’t itched in a week and a half AND the scabs on my hairline are gone! It’s amazing.

  • Caroline Cousins says:

I’m on month 4 continuously now and my overall health is definitely better. Recent blood tests showed negligible inflammation in the body and my resilience is strengthening. My digestive system is so much better as is my skin. When you first take it you can get loose or have diarrhoea but that goes after a few days. Stick at 16oz until you get used to it then twice a day. To continue with diarrhoea shows high levels of toxicity. 4 months in, about 1.5 hrs after the celery juice, I now get rid of a little mucus from the body only, which is great. I’m staying on it. šŸ˜

  • Hoof In Denver says:

Hey Derek. Again, great video!!! I wanted to ask… whatā€™s your take on detoxing. Been hearing a lot of people condescendingly talking about how your liver detoxes your body for you and that any other type of detoxing is pretty much made up. Iā€™m not sure what to believe.

    • Simnett Nutrition says:

There are definitely variables to our body’s efficiency and rates of detoxification. Yes our liver with the help of other organs is always detoxifying our body, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t foods and nutrients that can’t help facilitate it. Think about the simple action of drinking water, the more we drink the quicker and more efficiently our body will be able to rid itself of built up toxins. I am not a fan of detox diets or anything, but people are wrong when they say nothing can be done to help facilitate (or hinder) detoxification. Eating a healthy diet full of whole plant foods and drinking adequate water is more than enough for most people. However there are situations where some help might be needed. Here is a scientific review that talks about it if you would like to learn more. “This review summarizes the research in this area to date, highlighting the potential for foods and nutrients to support and/or modulate detoxification functions” https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/26167297

      Thanks for the thoughtful comment.

I appreciate you pointing me in the right direction. Got some light reading tonight

    • Megan Harris says:

I feel like anything that helps liver function would be ideal

    • skyboy1956 says:

@Vanderlander _ This is a total BS scam. How can people be so incredibly gullible???!!!

    • 0MohawkWarrior0 says:

As a medical professional for many years, I can tell you that it is mostly junk ‘science.’ Any detox program that you may have heard of does not truly do much in the way of actually removing any toxins from your body.
However, if you are not getting the proper nutrition, any changes to your diet for the better will definitely remove harmful toxins and compounds that may have built up.
Just make sure your meals are properly balanced and you will be fine.

  • Peggy Genoway says:

Let me save you just over 10 minutes: he quit because the price went up….but there were positive results.

  • Maureen Caruso says:

My blood work improved on celery juice !! My liver enzyme went from 39 to 14, my cholesterol dropped 30 points. My GERD is improving .

  • Leann Lamb-Vines says:

I really enjoyed your informative sharing of your experience on celery juice. It’s great to hear what science has learned about celery so far. I’ve just recently started doing celery juicing myself and I also enjoy the taste. I’ve been using the blender method as well with cheesecloth as my strainer. I don’t add water and my high speed blender does get it into a liquid state as long as I have small pieces and enough in the blender. I’m not much of a stickler on the amount though. I’m wondering that since you found so much benefit from a one month use, which likely detoxed you quite well, why not go down to half as much a day? You will still be getting benefits, and perhaps you don’t need as much now. So as long as their is good growing conditions for it, the market will balance out too. On the other hand, maybe a month at a time, now and then, is all you need.

  • Bro says:

I really love the taste of celery juice. I struggle with eating raw celery but could juice it every day and also really enjoy it cooked. Also, I never add extra water into it and never had an issue with it not blending. I have a ninja chef blender. Thanks for the video!

  • Tammy Gardner says:

I have fibromyalgia and have been drinking for 1.5 weeks and have noticed that it gives me energy where nothing else does and my medication is being absorbed and actually working better. My brain fog is more bearable now too.

  • chasemice says:

I am on the “Juice-the-Rainbow” bandwagon, because every group of veggies (greens/reds/ oranges, etc) have their benefits. Yesterday I did about 80 percent carrots and 20 percent green apple. And today I did Kale (80%) and pineapple (20%). I make sure to do it in the morning, on empty stomach. I know celery is the thing, but I just feel I am missing out on so much other goodness. Of course I do celery (especially when in a hurry, I do it all by itself) , and I recommend after washing it, rinse it and let it sit in some icy water for 20-30 minutes. It will soak up some water and make your drink refreshing. You are not supposed to add water, so maybe this pre-step will help.

    • Mags Light says:

it’s not the same as drinking straight and only celery juice, you don’t get the benefits of the cluster salts if you mix it even with a bit of lemon juice Anthony sais.

  • Gift Yourself Freedom says:

Just to reiterate, Anthony Williams does not recommend adding anything to celery juice to make it taste better. He actually says that if you add anything it completely takes the amazing benefits away.

  • Urban Backyard farmer says:

I started with the celery juice about two weeks ago, I do the same method, vita mix and then through a nut milk bag. I am totally loving it and Iā€™ve actually been gradually losing weight without changing anything else., Iā€™m back down to my weight of 10 years ago! I think it just helps flush your system out. Definitely going to keep doing this.

  • WaterLilly 7 says:

The medical medium SPECIFICALLY says NOT to add ANYthing. That includes water, lemon, and whatever else šŸ™‚ he says it changes the celery juice and I have actually heard this from other sources as well. I just want people to know this šŸ˜ Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I absolutely love watching your videos, thank you so much for sharing!! šŸ’œā˜ŗļø

  • Jacob Michard says:

Hey! just wanted to let you know that when I researched celery juiced reading and watching videos that I realized that it would cost a lot. So I decided to grow my own celery at home. You can do this indoors or outdoors. I will be growing it on our back deck since I’m not aloud to grow it in the house. You can use seeds or the stalk that you get rid of. So if you want to save money I would recommend it. I haven’t tried it yet but i’ll get back to you on that.

    • j nova says:

44/27/2022 – Hi Jacob, I would appreciate it if you would please let me know when you grow your own celery, the step by step process and if it looks and tastes the same as store bought celery. Thank you!

    • Jacob Michard says:

@j nova I will. Based on videos you may get really thin celery if you don’t have all the right growing conditions.

    • j nova says:

@Jacob Michard Thanks Jacob. Please let me know your results when you grow your own celery.

    • Mags Light says:

cool! Do they grow quite tall?

    • Jacob Michard says:

I totally forgot about growing. But their is a good amount of youtube videos. I don’t know when I’ll start growing celery

  • Jeff Hubbard says:

As a public safety message, since you appeared to eat a stalk of celery straight from the market there is something to consider. Years ago, I worked as a meat cutter at a grocery store and noticed people often come in and handle the meat packages before shopping for produce. Many of them are seeping. This makes cross contamination a very real danger even if you buy the organic produce. It is spectacularly dangerous to eat unwashed produce from a store.

    • Gail Needham says:

It may have been washed and only chomping it to make you laugh. It was pretty silly hanging out of his mouth. I believe most people concerned about health enough to eat this way would also be concerned to wash it first. He does mention washing it later in the video, but that is something to think about- what you mentioned.

  • Liz Love says:

You are a good teacher. Straight to the point. Very helpful šŸ‘šŸ¾

  • Bosaina Karkukelly says:

awesome video…very informative and accurate. I experienced what you experienced in one day, three & half months after starting juicing celery (so ya..took me 3.5 months of religiously drinking 16oz of pure celery juice until I started having diarrhea) – and I KNOW that my body had much more toxins to get rid of than the average person, so I get why it took so long…when you get to that point though, reducing the quantity and the frequency, is a must. Otherwise it may affect your hydration levels – especially if (like me) you don’t drink enough water to compensate for the loss of liquids. Benefits? got lots more than you describe…so I am EXTREMELY grateful for having been introduced to MM books and knowledge.

  • Narmy Underdown says:

My husband and I have been juicing one stalk of celery (8oz each) for a month now. We had loose stools in the morning the first week. Weā€™re both in our early 40ā€™s work out regularly and eat a plant based diet. Biggest benefit weā€™ve noticed so far is that we have almost no more joint pain. Which was a problem before we started juicing celery. ā˜ŗļø

  • phortunate1 says:

I did the celery juice daily for about 2 months. I am 63, and other than 10K steps daily, I don’t do anything I would call a workout, but the wife and I are active (daily) gardeners. I felt my blood pressure was under better control, and I did feel the bowel movement urges on occasion, but that was a plus to me! I eventually stopped, just like you, for the price reason. I historically recollect paying around $1 per head (a bit more for hearts) of celery. Anthony Williams has created a demand crush in the market and the price is out of control… especially for organic. Your video was spot on!

  • Sylvie T says:

When I first became vegan I did the 9 day cleanse that Anthony recommends. Coming off meat the detox was brutal the 3rd day! But my hand arthritis completely went away! I still juice celery about one week a month. Not much detox now that my diet is very clean. Celery saved my career as a massage therapist for sure!
