Can something other than coconut be used?

    • @NutritionRefined says:

You could use cacao butter (instead of the coconut oil) and more cashews + a little bit of plant-based milk (instead of the full-fat coconut milk). I am not sure how much plant-based milk you’d need (since I haven’t tried it) but you should aim for a slightly thicker consistency than you saw in the video.

Thank you! I didn’t know canned coconut milk wasn’t raw. This dessert looks delicious.

    • @NutritionRefined says:

Hi Isabella – canned coconut milk is generally not considered raw. Most commercial coconut milk undergoes processing before packaging. This processing often involves heat treatment, such as pasteurization, to stabilize the product and prevent bacterial growth. While some products, like cold-pressed coconut milk, can be labeled as raw, this is not typical for canned versions.

  • @AnaJimenez-qy1gk says:

Hi Petra, I can’t eat almonds, what can I substitute it with? Thanks

    • @NutritionRefined says:

You could use any other nut. If you want to go with hazelnuts or Brazil nuts, process them first (just like almonds). If you like pecans, process them together with the walnuts. You could also substitute the almonds for seeds, such as sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds.

    • @AnaJimenez-qy1gk says:

      @ thanks Petra 🙂
