My two heros having a chat. Take. It. Easy.

  • @Seanonyoutube says:

Bro you have such a peculiar intonation to your speech, it’s like you’re always reading out a really boring script lol

    • @bionic_yt9911 says:

Not at all Have to disagree the purpose is to be informatic which he is an expert in doing. Bro is cool

    • @Phoenix-ov5gg says:

I think a lot of his speech pattern comes from English not being his first language. I attended a foreign university and when I spoke in a foreign language I found my speech pattern was more flat because I was less emotionally connected to the words I used. For me a non issue as I’m only interested in what he has to say not him putting on a theatrical performance with his voice.

    • @bionic_yt9911 says:

@@Phoenix-ov5gg yeah that make sense the emotion not connecting like your native language

    • @siclucealucks says:

I’m german and people from northern regions of EU tend to show less expression. Like the opposite of southern EU. Thats simply mentality and culture. We often think this useless word and expression salad is not very serious.

  • @Physionic says:

Thanks for having me on – it was a blast. 🙂

  • @AquaFrost777 says:

Amazing, my 2 favorite anti-aging Youtubers, doing a joint video.

  • @Phoenix-ov5gg says:

Cool, two of my favourite longevity experts doing a collab 😀

  • @meowstermeow2967 says:

Two of my fav youtubers. Slimland looks so excited can barely sit still, normally he looks serious.

  • @christianduval8374 says:

    Nice to see both interact.

  • @siclucealucks says:

You’ve got the best guy here. I love that you have invited him. I’m a scientist myself (in a different field, physics), and this guy is as good, critical, and unbiased as you can get. He is very thorough, always trying to read the studies in the correct context. He is a role model for scientific practices and guidance.

    • @Physionic says:

Thanks – means a lot to me 🙂

    • @siclucealucks says:

@@Physionic You deserve it. I wish all the people calling themselves ‘experts’ would work like you. Less misinformation and BS would float around. It hurts me to see how highly praised people like e.g. Huberman are reading study conclusions out of proper context, leading to false assumptions.

  • @Phoenix-ov5gg says:

15:55 nice to hear for those of us watching while on the treadmill, go autophagy and gobble those pesky senescence cells! 🦠 🍽️

  • @thx--i says:

    Such a great content

  • @TheMornox says:

One of the best conversations and guest choice I’ve seen on this channel.

  • @Phoenix-ov5gg says:

21:40 I’m happy you guys addressed this, because I was wondering about protein, it’s commonly asserted for the physically active who do strength training 1.8 grams per kilo is optimal. But since it activates Mtor it’s not ideal for lifespan and aging. But I guess this is where you have to choose between optimising your healthspan or lifespan. Personally I would prefer to optimise healthspan rather than squeeze out every extra month of life I can.
