Yes! Your sauce and dressing videos are the no. 1 contributor to my cooking skills of all things on the entire internet! So excited 10 seconds in..
It really is all about the sauce, it’s made transitioning to a vegan diet so much easier. Thanks for these recipes!
It really is 👍
@Polizia grammaticale you need to get to a vegan restaurant, stat. You’ve obviously never eaten vegan food.
@Katie Clark No I haven’t, and I don’t intend to, because I am not brainwashed and care a lot about my health.
I add spinach to my sauces to sneak in healthy greens. It doesn’t change the flavor and I like the color. 😊
I love the c oolour too.. it’s a very alive green! 🙂
@Polizia grammaticale woah you’re galaxy brain dude
Please leave the spinach alone,
It’s extremely high in oxalates.
I’m working hard at transitioning to a plant based diet. It’s tough and I’ve had some ups and downs. This guy’s videos are really helpful.
Patrick Hynes I tried vegan
It made me worse, now
Trying carnivore and starting
To feel better after 3 months.
Keep at it, just eliminate one food at a time. Ok to have a cheat day
Keep up the good work. You won’t regret it. I’m an all or nothing person. I went vegan instantly so that I didn’t have to struggle with decisions/easy temptations. It’s easy now and one if the best things I’ve ever done and such a joyful way of life!
@stephan What happened to you that was worse? How long did you do a plant-based diet for?
It’s only hard if you hang on to some of your old processed foods. Remove everything not on plan from your kitchen, and buy all the ingredients you need. Now you won’t go back.
Using fresh raw onion will protect avocado from browning – when we have some opened avocado to store, we put it in a sealed container with a few onion slices – and it really slows down the browning effect. (It never lasts long enough to brown in our house). It would work really well in the avocado dressing – but consider who is eating it. Some people can’t handle to raw onion, even if it is blended into the source.)
Thank you for this tip!
You can also add some cold water 💧 to a dish & put your avocado 🥑 face down in your dish of water. 💧 You can also smooth down your Guacamole & add some cold water to the top layer, 💧 then when you are ready to use it again, just dump the water, stir & enjoy! 😉
Thanks for these gratis tips!
Wouldn’t the lime juice help slow down the browning?
Thank you for this! 🙏
Just made the spicy avocado and put it on some tacos I made. It was my first full on vegan meal! You have helped me soooooo much in taking my first steps towards this lifestyle! Thank you 😊
I would recommend adding a roasted poblano pepper it adds a whole other level of awesome to the spicy avacado cilantro sauce
I keep coming across poblano peppers whenever I eat out and I always think, “MAN! That is delicious!” but I keep forgetting to actually buy one and experiment with it. We’ve got them all over the place here (San Diego, CA), but I’m middle eastern and we never had it growing up lol. Thanks for the reminder!
That sounds heavenly! Great idea.
thanks 💙
Great Idea, should I blend the seeds or remove them?
@Daniel remove seeds and vines to reduce the spiciness. Sometimes the spice is hit or miss.
Thank you SO much! New vegan here. Love your sauces! I make the hummus one as directed but use my homemade vegetable stock instead of water, add an extra date, extra garlic, about 1/4 cup of balsamic vinegar and thin it out a little with more vegetable stock. We LOVE it on a leafy green salad.
Just want to say thank you for the great content on your channel, I’m a newbie vegan and your channel is one that use to educate myself about this lifestyle and I appreciate your time 🙏🏻
Omg… I just tried the spicy avocado dressing and it is AMAZING!!! It took my food to whole other level. I’m so loving your page. Looking forward to trying out recipes in the cook book 😍😍😍
Thank you SO much for all your tips! I’ve been eating more plant based food since Oct 13 & it really is because of your tips! You’re so energetic, respectful, humorous, & super intelligent. We appreciate your hard work in helping us take care of our bodies 🙂
Your comments/opinion on oils is easily the most neutral and non-aggressive I have seen on any YouTube channel. Just straight-up facts with a lifestyle and attitude that lead by example. I will absolutely be making these sauces for my meals. Thank you for taking the time to make, edit, and share this video. I appreciate it.
I know this video was meant for fat free sauces, but I had to add some tahini in mine and let me tell you. . . it was 👌. My favorite by far. Oh and the toasted sesame seeds was perfect. What an awesome idea! Both me and my husband enjoyed it very much. Thanks Derek
I’m a week in to the vegan life style and feeling great! Can’t wait to try these easy to make sauces. Thank you very much
I made the hummus sauce today, you were right, it is a good base for so many things. I took some and added some mustard, a little maple syrup and some Gochujang for spice, it was wonderful on my rice and tofu bowl. Thanks, love your videos
I made the hummus sauce. My family, who doesn’t eat a lot of veggies, ate it with the veggies bowls I made and they loved it!
Just had a go at the taco seasoning! Used smoked paprika instead. Looks the part, planning on trying it out with plant based burritos tonight! Thanks for sharing these!
These recipes look amazing, and I will definitely be trying them! BTW your vibrant positivity is infectious! I really enjoy your channel. Thanks for the good quality content and for keeping it so real and down to earth…always inspiring.
Magnifique, Mr. Derek, not to mention yummy and super delicious. Had the one with cilantro and avocado with a boiled russet potato for breakfast. Probably won’t need another meal today. So satisfying. Thank you so much for all your wonderful cooking suggestions. Love to you and Crystal and your kitty from Florida.
