I would cut the slices the other way and use a small round circle to cut out the core. I prefer not to eat seeds and stems.

  • @shearview5134 says:

Those look so good. I’ve got to try all of them

Thank you for all of your recipes. My husband is now borderline diabetic. So we will be making these. I love your recipes and not being so rigid in your diet. The keto honey is delicious along with keto jelly. That’s all we eat here. You give us fantastic ideas. Thank you!!!

As a few diabetic wife, low carb is absolutely the way to go for insulin resistance. My husband was type 2, with bloodsugars in the 300s even while on meds. His A1C is completely back to normal after 2 years of keeping his net carbs under 42 a day. (He’s a fan of Hitchhiker’s Guide, so 42 is the answer to everything. πŸ˜‚) Good luck on turning your husband’s health around, I hope low carb/keto works for him.

Great idea! 🍎You’ve got my recipe wheels turning. I can already think of many more healthy protein versions of these..I just Love this for Apple Season here in NY. Recently, I had a few slices only for low carb macros but I’ll definitely make these with all the toppings, total upgrade. What a great way to add protein & get fiber in. ❀

Thanks Myra, people will say apples are not keto, but you are having a slice of apple, not the entire apple and you can dress it with keto toppings. Great dessert!

I really like you! Authentic and cute, and smart! I don’t follow your recipes exactly, but I like your ideas/inspiration, and your energy. I have lost 20lbs in 5 months after given birth to two babies. Still losing more slowly but steadily, and goal to reach to my pre-pregnancy weight.

    Thank you πŸŽ‰ I love apples!! 😊

  • @vbella39 says:

Thank you! I love apples and of course had to adjust how much and what I add to my occasional serving. These are fabulous ideas! I occasionally slice a small apple, sprinkle with just cinnamon and grill it with a steak. I also make a crumble by slicing a few up, sprinkle with cinnamon and make an almond flour crumble using butter, a bit of brown sugar erythritol blend and more cinnamon to sprinkle on top and bake. My non low carb friends love it and ask me to make it often. It is a good use of apples that are hanging around and need to be used, or just a descent healthy snack. I find apples have enough natural sweetness that I don’t need to add any more, except a bit for the crumble topping. I am so excited to try out your ideas! 😎

  • @jeanniedorsey6772 says:

I’d enjoy each & everyone of them!

  • @lauraantos3105 says:

I appreciate the different options from dressing up my apples. I’ve been using PB or almond butter but these are great ideas!

I’ve been seeing these on social media over the past few weeks. I’ve even seen someone do a traditional candy apple this way. I love that the apples are thinly sliced because I’ve never liked biting into a whole apple. Great idea!
