Hey autumn, if you’ve got a quick sec. I’ve been eating mainly chicken and mixed vegetables the last few weeks but I’m not feeling a hundred percent all the time. Some times I feel like I just need a little sugar and when I do eat just a tinny bit I feel tons better. Is there a natural way to get sugar in without having to eat a sweet treat? -Keith

    • @ejo4squared01 says:

      Fruit is a good option

    • @keithlewis4423 says:

@@ejo4squared01 that’s a good idea! I tried bananas and apples but haven’t really done the trick. I think I’ll do grapes next and see if it gives me what I’m looking for. Thanks for the thought!

    • @kvje3456 says:

I love a couple of tablespoons of macadamia nut butter from the fridge with a few very dark chocolate drops, cacao nibs, pumpkin seeds and toasted coconut strips!

    • @keithlewis4423 says:

@@kvje3456 This is interesting, I’ve never heard of that. Thank you!

    • @kvje3456 says:

You are probably feeling low from too little fat, rather than sugar, if you are just eating chicken and veg

  • @ervinsmoviecorner8748 says:

    Love this one, Autumn!

  • @janeknight3597 says:

Getting the fibre in is really difficult

    • @erinstory8361 says:

Try basil seeds! Soak a few spoonfuls in water for 5-10 mins then mix in a couple soaked spoonfuls into whatever you want. Yogurt or into a smoothie after blending works well for me. Store extra in the fridge. 2 spoonfuls is 15 grams of fiber, a couple times a day can really help get your fiber intake easily.

  • @seemabains7692 says:

Hi are you exporting your protein powder to UK yet?❤

  • @christina6308-z says:

Another great video. Thanks for addressing these oft discussed concerns with cutting carbs. I myself am in the category of having completely cut out any processed or refined carbs, and only eating whole fruits and vegetables. It’s served me really well, especially since my diet is very high in fiber, fat, and protein.

  • @karolinaspangenberg9425 says:

Hi Autumn, this video came out at the perfect time. Im training for the half marathon (in 3 weeks) and Im recently working on reducing my carb intake to the very minimum – is this gonna work? I noticed im more tired after a longer run, meaning more now than I was even 2 weeks ago. should I reintroduce carbs into my diet before the run? what’s the best way to do so?

  • @paddy3622 says:

great content. carbs are not the devil. i’m sure you’ve done a video on this but what are your thoughts on consuming fruit? i know i sometimes overdue it with peaches, apples, cherries, blueberries, and raspberries. i know it’s natural sugar but it’s still sugar. is it possibly preventing me from losing weight? ty

    • @pajamamama5965 says:

I hope Autumn answers this. If not, this my opinion based on research. When it comes to fruit I believe it’s all about The amount of sugars that are present in the different types of fruit versus fiber. Some fruits like raspberries are high in fiber and low in sugar. They would facilitate Is fat loss. Other fruits like oranges are just too high in sugar and not enough fiber. I’ve seen charts that show which fruits are best for fat burning. For me personally I’ve lost 25 pounds and have kept certain fruits in my diet and eliminated others.

    • @paddy3622 says:

@@pajamamama5965 thanks. berries are good. i know certain docs who have given up eating bananas and oranges. too much sugar. moderation.

    • @pajamamama5965 says:

@@paddy3622 You’re welcome! Exactly 🙂 Green bananas are okay because they have the resistant starch but obviously they’re not as sweet still that’s what I use in my smoothies and only half a banana. I eat all the berries but blueberries contain the most sugar and also pesticides so I don’t eat them often.

  • @japneetsingh6637 says:

I gave in yesterday and drank beer.

????Hi Autumn!! Thank you so so SOOOO MUCH for all of your videos and science-back nutrition information 🙂 listening to you has changed my mindset and the way I look at fasting and food. I’ve recently received your whey protein powder and LMT packets, so YAYY!! I’d absolutely love to be a part of the September 6-week fasting challenge, (this will be my first challenge I join!), but I’d like to know how to join you and the community? Can you please help me with this and let me know what I should be purchasing???? Thank you again Autumn!! I think you are wonderful ☺️🙌🏼🩷

  • @F_T2D_Drew says:

Fiber can’t digest without a cecum. Fatty animal foods produce fewer BMs cause all the nutrients are absorbed. Sugars and carbs are not a dietary requirement, gluconeogenisis. Animal fat is nutrient dense energy, without storing fat, cause the fat storing hormone insulin isn’t spiked.

Please make a printable or a screenshot of glycemic loads. Thank you.

Wow! Seconds before seeing your comment I was just thinking that I wish all the glycemic food lists ( high, medium, low) were printable so I could plan my meals and shopping easier.

This 💥 video packs a wallop of good intel 🤓. It’s so freeing to not count carbs and calories like I used to before IF. Just had Inbody scan done and my muscle mass has increased and body fat decreased. Autumn’s plan works!! I never feel deprived. 💪

Heard through a reliable source that she had asked 12 PEOPLE BEFORE WALZ and they ALL REFUSED!

  • @ApostolosKatsioulas says:

I’ve recently watched a video where a renowned doctor shares his views on carbohydrates. Carbohydrates are needed, the brain requires it to function. Diets like carnivore and ketogenic are more like medicine for some people. Don’t get me wrong but it’s been shown that for diabetic people the ketogenic approach to their nutrition will be a major assist. Also, in autoimmune conditions carnivore’s been shown to have a major impact in the improvement of the person’s health. I have removed refined carbs out of my nutrition, I don’t consume pasta, bread and products related to flour. I don’t consume rice either, I prefer either potatoes or sweet potatoes. I consume oats, vegetables, and fruits. I’ll also give dairy products another chance soon, so far transitioning back to red meat hasn’t been a nightmare with my hemorrhoids that I’ve suffered from in the past. Plus, this might sound bizarre, but I’d rather have decent quality source of fat than overeat potatoes; when it comes to vegetables and fruits I do eat a lot, I can guarantee you that.
