Whole foods and being less mentally restrictive is the answer to healing, getting the weight off, and keep the fat off. Rooting for everyone out there ❤

  • Leanne Walker says:

Just want to say thank you for your advice and expertise. I’ve battled with ED for decades now, but after watching you I’m like, “eat protein, carbs and healthy fats for a balanced meal. It’s supper time here in UK and I am having rice, black beans, eggs and avocado; a healthy meal.

  • majaanilsson_ says:

I love how you talk about diet and food without being triggering 🙏

  • Einah says:

I have always loved Romee because shes like so easy going around food. I always loved her WIEIAD videos and love you made this review

  • Tressa Marie says:

It’s so hard to relate to celebrity “new moms” because we know they’re not cleaning their homes or working two jobs or anything like that.

But these meals are relatable and achievable and look amazing. Good for her!

    • Abbey Sharp says:

      Sooo true though

    • Sierra Montanez says:

some of them are hard workers just because you think they don’t clean their homes doesn’t mean they don’t work. don’t discredit all

    • Diana1984 says:

Some of them might still do household chores. Especially influencers are often not as wealthy and they appear to be, so they might not even have the means to let others do their chores.
Also, some regular new moms don’t have to clean, as well. When my mom had a lot to do with us kids, she didn’t clean or do the laundry herself, and I know many women who get help with that when they become moms.
And just because you don’t clean your house you don’t necessarily have more time or work less hard. If the content of an influencer isn’t relatable for you and brings you down, please don’t watch it. But keep in mind that there are women out there who might find this exact content more relatable than the content you think is relatable.

  • Javiera Uchida says:

WOW thanks for sharing your HCC guide, so useful, love it!

  • Dana Stonerock says:

Does she discuss her post-baby workouts too? I think it’s vital to mention what types of exercises she does as women would probably want to relate to those as well. Just starting to run a 5k vs gentle stretches or walking for 30 min are two fery different things. ❤

    • Diana1984 says:

I’m not sure if she does, but I think it’s also very important to mention that it’s extremely individual when and how intense you workout after your pregnancy. It depends a lot on how fit you were before and during the pregnancy, it depends on how “easy” or “hard” the pregnancy was on you etc. So my appeal to new moms, please ask your doctor for advise when you want to go back to working out. He can tell you how much you, individually, should do. Don’t listen to anything you see on the internet or hear from non-experts.

  • Wendy Stevenson says:

    I love Romee’s content she’s so likeable.

  • Carla Cooking Vegan says:

She gets paid to be in a certain shape. For the women that live a regular life you’re doing good just making healthy choices and making healthy decisions. We’re all just doing the best that we can, so don’t be so hard on yourselves ❤.

  • C MK says:

I would be starving with the lack of vegetables! I would definitely have spring mix or steamed broccoli with the wrap, but otherwise it looked really good and tasty.

  • Dayna Jabin says:

Love your channel. You are the voice of reason and an amazing dietitian.

  • Pao Sefian says:

I love Abbey so much literally don’t know what I would do without her

  • Hafsa Hussein says:

Recently started following you and I’m really enjoying your content! Thanks Abbey!!

  • Sophie Irwin says:

I was worried it was one of those ‘get pre-baby body back in 6 weeks or less’. A year doesn’t sound too crazy, obviously depending on weight gain in pregnancy, lifestyle (especially being able to afford and have time for a personal trainer), age etc. It seems more plausible and not as toxic as other postpartum diets. Some people are lucky and the weight just drops off them, others will never have washboard abs again but it’s important to address every body and circumstances are different.

  • Clara Montero says:

I will love a video on how to maintein a healthy relationship with food when in a restrictive diet (restricted bc of illenes, intolerantes, allergies, etc)…. I’m right now on a temporary elimination diet to figurate out what is hurting my stomach and I’m struguling with my relationship with food.
    Love your videos ❤❤

  • Alicia Douglas says:

Right there with ya Abbey!! I am lucky enough to have 2 beautiful daughters and I don’t want anymore kids cause I don’t think I could handle anymore plus I feel my little is complete and my girls have each other and don’t need any other siblings!!

  • prisc.l says:

great advices i love the chia seeds to help me with ppt constipation as well (i like to put 1 tsp in my lactation tea with 1 tsp of honey, either cold or hot are both good)

  • Freya Chandra says:

There really is so much pressure to lose the baby weight. After pregnancy, I lost 20 pounds after a few weeks because it was all just water weight. But the last 6-7 pounds just refuse to come off and it’s been over a year. It’s so hard not to compare myself to moms who have multiple kids and still look so toned. It’s nice to know I’m not the only one who feels the pressure.

  • Lily Mee says:

Thanks for this review and all your advice

  • Daria Zeev says:

I follow her on Instagram and remember how sometime after her first baby, she posted (I think it was technically answer to ‘Ask me anything’ question) how she is now going to eat differently (there was sth like a burger on the photo) because ‘eating restrictively is very hard to align with her new lifestyle’ (this is not an exact quote) so the understanding was that she was no longer going to follow the restrictive rules because it interfered with the life she wanted to live going fwd. … A few moments later …
