  • @SalemKeoghDesigns says:

Thank you for educating and standing up to this ridiculous influencer diet advice.

  • @hadassahm3016 says:

I wonder what 2024 diet trends will develop. Oooh you should do a video predicting it and react to it this time next year!

  • @dressupworkout says:

I CANNOT STAND the keto/intermittent fasting pushers! It’s like they want to suck all the joy out of life. Not many people can eat nothing but grass-fed steak and stay happy. Or healthy.

    • @melindaroop1346 says:

And don’t you dare tell them otherwise. They are some of the worst people on the internet, all while claiming vegans are bad with being pushy.

    • @annebialecki283 says:

Well don’t follow it. Let people have their choices. Your choice it to move in your direction and ignore all the other so called ‘advice’.

    • @celestialcircledance says:

I think that mostly meet crazed guys probably invented an advocate for that diet .

    • @annebialecki283 says:

@@melindaroop1346Disagree totally. Name who does this and they’ll probably be not from that community but just claim to be so to have their fun.

    • @cheyb1815 says:

      @@celestialcircledance*meat

Quite a few women follow IF and carnivore now too

  • @meganlizzE says:

Ms. Abbey Sharp woke up today and chose violence and I’m here for it 😂❤ not looking forward to all of the defensive videos but thank you for providing the honest, evidence-based knowledge as always!

  • @wannabetrucker7475 says:

I find these really amusing because of how earnest the content creators are, then there’s your reaction. Of course it is also educational 😊

    • @wannabetrucker7475 says:

Unfortunately, “unhinged” covers a wide variety of topics on social media……not just nutrition. Ah well, maybe AI can save us ..😊. If not, we’ll still have some laughs. Thanks Abbey

  • @riahartelman3005 says:

Paige Shay is scary. She mentioned her difficult relationship with food several times, but now she can binge without gaining weight. She mentioned in a video that it is wise to not go to a restaurant so you don’t eat the wrong food. She talks with so much confidence. It’s ok to doubt yourself from time to time. Influencers should feel some responsibility for their content. ❤

  • @Pepper-sg5rc says:

Welp this is in a nutshell why I went straight to a dietitian and didn’t mess around with unlicensed harmful internet advice

  • @stefaniehatch8473 says:

The formula thing ticks me off more than anything. My siblings and I were all born intolerant and had to have soy formula. Without formula we wouldn’t be here.

    • @paulachristie7807 says:

      Exactly, me too.

    • @TheDecoCottage says:

Agreed! Bash whatever food you want but babies are off limits!

There really are only 2 options for feeding babies: breastmilk and formula. Adults have infinite variety, babies do not. Do not shame parents into starving their children out of fear.

  • @katiegilley4772 says:

So interesting to see the correlation between food dyes and autism. My 8 yo is profoundly autistic and has always been extremely difficult to feed. His comfort zone is definitely with the heavily processed foods and that’s very typical for kiddos with this diagnosis. So I would absolutely believe that the food dyes DO NOT cause autism but that specific diet is SYMPTOM of autism.

And boo on Bobby and his formula rants. Thanks for advocating for parents doing their very best, Abbey!

    • @TheDecoCottage says:

I immediately write off ANYONE who goes after formula. It’s literally one of 2 options available to feed an infant, one of which (breastfeeding) isn’t always an option.

  • @SmallLady932 says:

That fruit girl posts some of the most damaging unscientific videos I have ever seen but she’s SO confident in what she’s saying. It’s really concerning.

  • @paigekutz8539 says:

I’m sober but the vodka cup cracked me up lol its very pretty too! Love these videos. It feels cathartic to brush off goofy stuff together. Laughing at it makes me feel better.

  • @EvanQuinones says:

Thank you Abbey, AS ALWAYS, for shooting down misinformation. It’s really because of you and watching your content that I have a much better relationship with food than I did. I talk about this in my Weight Loss Story video. But having balanced meals with a source of fiber rich carbs, healthy fats, and protein really is the key. Variety really is the spice of life.

  • @kels6794 says:

Thank you for clarifying the whole ‘peanuts are not a good protein source’ argument!! Now I can eat my peanut butter without concern, and even better I have an excuse for a sandwich now😂!

    • @vanamarkarian says:

I wouldn’t go crazy on the peanut butter cause they contain mold… sorry

    • @jaymivanzyl7195 says:

@@vanamarkarianare you referring to aflatoxins? Please do your research on that before spreading misinformation.

    • @shandi6246 says:

Of course you can enjoy your peanut but 7 grams per 2 tablespoon serving isn’t much. There are far better protein sources with fewer calories. 🙂

  • @amylynn3821 says:

You didn’t mention that Liz states that she chose her vegetables because they were “very low in carbs” yet included carrots that at best are moderate in carbs (and yet still delicious and nutritious and I am not against eating them).

  • @jtaylo52 says:

As a parent, the formula clip was horrifying. Literally, no words, just angry.

  • @ajlatang says:

My husband is a physician and I guarantee you that doctors don’t make any money from the prescriptions they write. Maybe that happened back in the day but those days are gone because there is so much regulation. Doctors just want to help their patients live longer better lives

  • @penelopejane5285 says:

I did an elimination diet at my doctor’s recommendation and realized my headaches came back and arthritis got way worse when I added back gluten 🙁 Dairy was ok that god. If both had triggered issues, I think I would’ve cried. I had tested negative for celiac‘s, and so we moved on to an elimination diet to help figure it out my headaches and it really worked… the reduction in my arthritis in my hands was a bonus. But yeah it’s basically an experiment it’s temporary to get you the information you need.

  • @trishalamohan says:

I am someone who has recently started to make an effort to eat and live in a healthier manner and your videos have been so beneficial to me! There is such an abundance of “health advice” from so many unqualified people on the internet and I am so grateful that you make such an effort to give advice that is easy and practical to follow. Thank you Abbey ❤
