Friday Favorites: How to Test for Functional Vitamin B12 Deficiency
Many doctors mistakenly rely on serum B12 levels in the blood to test for vitamin B12 deficiency.
Now if you do get your homocysteine tested and despite both B12 supplementation and eating beans and greens it’s still too high (meaning double digits), I have a suggestion: Should Vegetarians Take Creatine to Normalize Homocysteine? ( ) and The Efficacy and Safety of Creatine for High Homocysteine ( ).

Can you use B complex vitamin to cover all your B vitamins needs
My homocysteine is around 14. Is that too high? Should I be worried a lot?
What does your doctor say?
@@adiohead cardiologist said that they do not watch homocysteine anymore… that it does not have relation to heart disease 😳😳😳
@@JJ-wn6kkThe doctors aren’t working for us anymore. Except this doctor. He’s even going against McDougall here. I’d listen to him. Have you watched the how not to age video yet? It’s packed with information. And the how not to die video is to die for. The best documentary video about food and health ever gathered in one place.
Yes it’s too high. Get some supplements!
According to Dr. McDougall, a vitamin B12 supplement once a week is sufficient. What do you say?
Dr. Greger is such a gem.
I hate cliffhangers.
Me too. This is a repeat. So the next video isn’t coming but it’s already posted. It’s hard to tell what the next one is.
New information! Great!! Thanks.

According to Dr. McDougall, a vitamin B12 supplement once a week is sufficient. What do you say?
