It’s the foamy eggs that make the crust like that. When I used to make regular brownies I would froth the eggs and it made a sort of crispy flaky crust. This looks like a super good recipe!

These look awesome! And just in time for the holidays. Yay.. I don’t have to be deprived of desert after the Thanksgiving meal. Thank you for this easy recipe.

  • C M says:

I was pretty skeptical but always looking for an easy brownie recipe so I went for it. Wow, too easy and too good. I did what one of the other comments said, a little vanilla and crushed walnuts. Came out great and it took my oven about 35 min. Thanks Mayra!

  • Tricia Nottingham says:

Made these today. Yum! Not too sweet, which I like. I did add some vanilla and a pinch of salt and sprinkled swerve confectioners sugar on top, after it cooled.
Also mine took 30 minutes. Even better tonight after fully cooling.

Simple changes to make good even better; decrease to 5 eggs instead of 6, melt 6T (3/4 stick) butter when you melt the choc chips, add 1 tsp good instant coffee, 1 tsp of vanilla and a dash of salt. I also added 1/4c chopped pecans. Really chewy delicious and keto with Lily’s chips, I used a mix of milk and dark choc totaling 11 oz. Oh and baking time: 45 minutes at 350.

  • Freedom Fit says:

I made these for my family and they came out beautiful I used a smaller dish to bake them so they came out nice and thick like a cake brownie but the taste I was amazed we can only find semi-sweet chocolate at the grocery store but they were not too sweet at all they were the perfect sweetness just from the semi sweet chocolate well done a round of applause for these brownies ❤️

You can also use pumpkin puree with chocolate and it makes a really good fudgy brownie

    • Stabby says:

Before I experiment, are you adding pumpkin to this recipe or omitting anything? Cheers
