      I need 70 more off. I lost 30 and I am at a stand still. I am 59. I am trying keto. I love the food ideas. I am disabled and my husband walked out 2 years ago leaving me with having to get food stamps only. No cash coming in. I am fighting disability and I don’t get enough to get all the foods I need. The protein shakes I want to do so badly are too expensive. I am trying to figure out how to lose without the help of smoothies. I want to wish you good luck and I am praying for you.

    Being a hospice nurse gives me perspective. Life is short; you only get one shot so don’t waste it. Your personal “WHY” behind weight loss HAS to be linked to pursuing good health for the purpose of living out your individual purpose. PERIOD. Can’t be to look like someone else, or be a certain pants size, or to win favor of people. Addressing trauma in our life is so VITAL to being physically healthy. Mental health and physical health go hand in hand. VERY passionate and 1,000% agree Myra has hit the nail on the head. YOU, you reading this, YOU matter, your life story matters, you have a purpose & value & the power to positively influence everyone around you. So, BE HEALTHY, not skinny. BE HEALTHY and find delicious healthy foods you enjoy to fuel yourself to carry out your unique purpose in life. We only get one shot at life, make it count.

    I can very much agree and understand where you are coming from. Iโ€™m wayyy older than you and I have struggle with my weight for many years. Since February/ March of last year I have reach my weight goal and it feels amazing. Your videos along with 2 other YouTubes have changed the game for me. I donโ€™t have any health issues- praise God butโ€ฆ. I donโ€™t want any. So I tell you listen to her and tell yourself you are beautiful and this is what I want you can do it. You have to want it and it has to be a regimen just for you. Iโ€™m 60 years old and I feel great. I do a little exercise every day but I promise you if you try intermittent fasting and a low carb diet you will lose the weight safely. To boost it up add at least 30 minutes of movement everyday. I. Your on home or your personal space you can do a walk in place for 15 minutes twice a day just to get your heart pumping and the blood flowing you will be amazed how you will feel.     I just turned 40 in September and I quit thinking about weight loss and all about my health. Iโ€™ve lost 12 pounds with only nutritional changes. Once I recover from surgery, Iโ€™m going to start moving my body. Great video! You spoke the truth and it made so much sense!

    Love your chat videos. I recently put on 40 lbs… I am 56 and I had to do a total change in my mentality about my health. I too got tired of the gym a few years ago and put too much pressure on myself to go. I go now for health reasons and not to loose weight.I am not going to “gym shame” myself anymore. I make it when I can every week and that is all I can do. If I don’t make it or only make it one day a week, then I did something and will do something to move my body in some way or fashion everyday. Doesn’t always have to be in the gym. I want to be able to keep moving and have good mobility, muscle mass etc as I age. I do want to loose the fat I have acquired but I know that will come. Can you tell me what carb count you try to stay at every day? Everyone has their idea of what love carb is. A clinic I am working with on my diet has me at 30 or less a day and I am fixing to tell them that its just too low for me. I am tired and the low carb/higher protein is causing constipation even with 8- ozs of water a day… fiber makes it worse.

    Yes, you are right! I focus on my healthโ€ฆmind over matter ! Going full carnivore works for me. I get no help from family or friends. My husband doesnโ€™t get it!     Cheat days/meals donโ€™t work for me. Substituting is what I find sustainable. My relationship with food has completely changed to where I can eat whatever I want within my lowcarb lifestyle without ever feeling the need to look back and miss what made me so unhealthy in the past.     Yeah, as this vid ended with “everyone has struggles,” so how did those struggles begin?
    I am in the middle of reading “The Body Keeps the Score” and I have taken on a whole new perspective on why people do what they do. As I am reading, I see my best friends, my coworkers, my parents and even a bit of myself, but not so serious as my friends and family. I have struggles, but they don’t feel as serious as my friends and family members. The book talks about trauma, the body reacting to the trauma and why people do what they do to themselves, like drink alcohol, eat themselves into self oblivion or self medicate with drugs. Crazy sh*t. But, I am 61, been self educating myself and really have awakened. Life is long until it isn’t โค
