Love this! Such good information for our busy stressful lives β€
This felt uncomfortable but will persevere with it and I’m sure it will feel better with practice π
Thank you for joining together for the greater good of this community! πππΌ
I so relate to the mouth breathing. Iβve noticed it in myself over the last year or so and have been using nasal sprays for allergies to try to open the airways up. My friend is a respiratory therapist and suggested a little βturbineβ nasal dilator which works great for exercise and sleeping but looks silly to wear through the day so canβt wear it all the time π
I was in a very bad abusive relationship with a narcissist, after years I finally separated. I was in my forties at the time and noticed I was having a hard time relaxing and I was stiff and tense. My thinking was not so good and I was having trouble concentrating. I was walking on egg shells for a long time and felt like I was in fight or flight. I was raising my son and needed to relax. I knew I needed mental clarity but could not afford a therapist at the time. I went online to find a holistic way to relax and heal. Learning breathing techniques saved me! I never thought something as simple as breathing could have such an impact. As I learned controlled breathing, I found my true freedom. I am now at the point where I can make hiccups go away in 30 seconds just through breathing. I began to combine this with yoga movement. I wish I had found this years ago. My muscles are no longer tense and stiff and my mind is so much clearer. I have my life back, my son is graduating high school and I am turning 54 next month. Thank you for sharing.
Congrats on your journey. Sending positive energy. You got thisπππ€
I was in a similar situation and Iβm still trying to heal
Yes thank you !!!
I found this helped me focus my mind resulting in a relaxed feeling. Iβm very open to using new techniques and I think I will find this very beneficial.
Thank you! It was very informative!
Thank you for the information! I really struggle with blocked nasal passages.
Love hearing a bit about your family history. Your motherβs picture shows a gorgeous woman! Thank you for introducing your brother! This is a very important video. Keep up the great topics!
Thank you both for helping us improve β€
I use oxycise for deep breathing and isometric techniques for over 25 years, it works!
Thank you for this Video, I do like having your brother in the video! Any and all info to do with improving your body I appreciate!β€β€β€
i do this before i go to sleep and when im stressed
Anyway you can incorporate disability exercise? I’m in a wheelchair & I find your site Shelleae so so helpful. I love learning to breathe with Mark it’ll definitely help me- I have difficulty with this after my illness in 2020
This was excellent information! Thank you so much β€
17:48 Good information. I enjoyed meeting your handsome and experienced brother. I also loved hearing about your other family members. This breathing technique is difficult for me but I will keep practicing. Thank you both lovely people.
I am only 20 minutes in crying. I read a woman below was in an abusive relationship with a narcissist, me too, and by the time I finally got a job and moved out, I was pretty sick have pneumonia for months and put on months of antibiotics and steroids. 8 months later had emergency abdominal surgery last August, likely from all the meds, then another in September, then another in Dec – 3 times down same 10 inch incision, septic, more bouts of pneumonia and pleural effusions. I’m now 3 months from my last surgery and learn I have diastasis and possible hernia near my incision. I also have diminished lung capacity from he above (was on oxygen for 5 months) but here I am and want to get better so much as I sit here with my belly binder and barely able to move/walk. I so need this. I so need help getting back to me. I’ll give it a go!! Especially because my initials are LSD!! Made me yawn,
I pray Jesus Christ heal you in His name amen!
I wish you the very best for your recovery. Please consult your doctor before starting breathing exercises like these. It’s a good thing to train your ability to breath through your nose, but please be careful about restraining your body from oxygen like described in one of the exercises. This goes for everyone but especially for people with health concerns like yours with diminished lung capacity. Please take care and I hope you will heal well.
Iβm very intrigued! I keep catching myself holding my breath, and times when I feel short of breath. Iβm definitely going to give this a try tomorrow. Thank you !
I love this- thank you for talking about breathwork. I am being pullled towards breathwork from so many angles lately and truly believe it is the answer to sooo many things.
