    It’s the food.

    • @inventor4279 says:

      It’s not

    • @wingsoficarus1139 says:

      No its the infrastructure.

Dont believe me? Places like the Philippines have a huge fast food culture just like the US, yet the obesity rate was 23% as of 2019. The biggest difference is that they walk everywhere but thats about it.

    • @LR-je7nn says:

      Strawberry Flavored Oatmeal:
European version: 5 ingredients with real freeze dried strawberries.
U S version: 13 ingredients with no strawberries.

    • @LR-je7nn says:

If I gave anymore information YouTube would delete it.

    • @LR-je7nn says:

A pickle from a fast food restaurant in the United States has TEN INGREDIENTS in it.

  • @pewienkurczak4581 says:

    USA subsidize corn.

    • @chuclkles58 says:

Yep just one instance is the US government has been subsidizing Sugar production since the 1700s

  • @Dev-Austin says:

It’s also dependent on the country. The UK’s obesity rate is higher than that of France.

  • @roberta8673 says:

The last point is the main reason. There was no obesity before the 1990s

  • @soulabear9146 says:

    SAD(Standard American Diet) Diet
    Ultra ultra Processed Foods.

  • @robertorota3328 says:

Also because we use to smoke more than them…let’s face it

  • @LLee0 says:

Siim, you are missing one point:

Many European doctors are paid by how well their patients are doing.

US doctors are paid by the number of prescriptions they give, the number of operations they perform on their patients….

    • @DigitalDive19 says:

      Lol which country

    • @wingsoficarus1139 says:

Not sure how much of this is true; however, if you actually visit these countries or look at the pages of a yearbook of a really big college/highschool, you kind of see that what hes talking about.

  • @dczech4138 says:

Yeah, and Europe school lunches and restaurants are also more regulated.

  • @delphinekirkland1757 says:

I’m from the US, but I spend time in Stockholm because my daughter lives there. I eat more carbs and have 3 meals a day there. But, I walk so much more and ,as you said, the meals are smaller. I don’t think as much about what I eat because my daughter cooks healthy foods and I can easily choose healthy options when I eat out. I have the same experience when I spend time in Guanajuato México, the mountains.

  • @jasonwarner4761 says:

All the processed food. When I travel to Europe I eat more and lose weight.

  • @DigitalDive19 says:

    Are you using botox

  • @HarrisonBirdBrown says:

We have a mixed genetics that eat generally one style food. Where Europe is a confederacy more with individual cultures living generally in one area without much diversity and have been eating foods their bodies can digest better. But americans also try to bulk up kids to grow taller.

  • @inventor4279 says:

Its literally just transportation, nothing to do with food

    • @WilliamWallace42 says:

Yeah America’s obsession with fast food restaurants on every corner and much larger portions of more chemically enhanced meals have absolutely nothing to do with it.

    • @inventor4279 says:

@@WilliamWallace42 if you seriously think that every other country outside of America are some holy vegans who eat well balanced diets with absolutely no additives…..I’m sorry but you have the average brain of an American lol
