Haha…. eating every few hours is horrible for type 2 diabetics (especially if you’ve been for a long time)

  • @daneenepostell4585 says:

    Out dated advice

  • @terribearden2744 says:

Totally opposite from what i hear from most doctors today, “grazing” like this every 3hrs is horrible for blood sugar control

  • @PatriotChik says:

Schellea, I love your channel, but this is horrid advice. This would spike your blood sugar over and over all day. Read fasting science, such as “fast, feast, repeat” or “the obesity code”

  • @td7080 says:

Great information. I don’t know where the others read or heard but fasting for a long period of time is a total disaster for your digestive , high blood pressure, and blood sugar

Dr Barry Sears recommends the same Zone diet !

Haha always conflicting advice from all angles. I juseat when I’m a bit hungry now days (mostly 3 times a day) but try hard to eat well but basic (meat veg or salad- lettuce, toms, cuc, avo olives, feta- & very little fruit, oats, yoghurt, cheese, eggs (wit bacon 2 or 3 times a wk) sourdough from artisan, I’m 62yo & I’ve been < 57kg all my adult life- (i do work physical type jobs & am usually quite active- used to do the workouts but have dropped off a bit being winter here, so i just walk the fmdog most days now

Thank you for the info. Exactly what we need to know at this stage of life.

  • @tlcsondi says:

Eating so often raises cortisol levels – not a good thing for me 🤷‍♀️
