Hi Autumn, love your posts. Would there be any chance of doing a similar video, delivering over 100grams of protein, but for those of us with gluten intolerance please? Mine causes post nasal drip, so not as severe as those who suffer with stomach issues, but I feel so much better when i eat gluten free!
    Many thanks,
    Steve

I’m 65, and the daily protein is the same ? Great information. Thank you. Blessings πŸ˜‡

  • @SLocky82 says:

I get in around 130-150g protein a day, it has helped me to track macros to reach this and sustain it

  • @stephanieb2697 says:

What are your thoughts on mTOR and protein hurting longevity? All the conflicting information about how to be healthy is so confusing.

  • @hello9945 says:

Autumn, stop speaking so fast in your videos SLOW DOWN!!!

    • @echomoonstar8235 says:

FYI – you can adjust the speed of the video within your YouTube settings. That way, those of us who are able to listen faster are not affected.

    • @mendozaclaw says:

Its good she speak so fast for some reasons
1.it helps concentreate in what she say.
      2. Videos are short and makes you what you want to see it.
3.it give enthusiasm to hear her instead of monotonic slow voice that is boring.

    • @ballymahonst says:

@hello9945 you can change the playback speed , go to the top right hand corner and you can alter the speed , click on star shape icon , hope that helps

    • @sumiiluv says:

Use the settings to slow the video down. I like her speed.

I’ve lost roughly 115 pounds (from 315 down to 202ish) by prioritizing protein. I’m a 6’4” guy and I wasn’t getting nearly enough as I thought. Beef eggs chicken fish cottage cheese Greek
Yogurt. It kills your cravings for sugar and carbs….also makes you feel full so you don’t snack and it’s hard to overeat. Prioritizing protein while exercising 6 times a week has helped me tremendously

  • @glendaw5221 says:

What about kidney beans and lentils? Are they good sources of protein to get to 100?

    • @ShoppingEmail-dr1fs says:

lentils are 10% protein by weight, but the protein is not absorbed and digested, the DIAAS can let you know how to adjust to plant proteins (you have to eat more than the grams stated as it’s not fully digested and absorbed, except for soy is equivalent to whey, and you need to balance the limiting amino acids). the DIAAS for cooked lentils is a score of .54–.61 (whey is 1) – have a read through the stuff online about the DIAAS. it’s on Wiki as well. I never eat any beans but consider lentils a good source of carbohydrate, it’s not a ‘good’ source of protein. you can google “Digestible Indispensable Amino Acid Scores (DIAAS) of Six Cooked Chinese Pulses
Fei Han” and read a bit about it.
I love lentils but don’t consider them a protein source, they would be ‘in addition’ to my animal protein.

‘Sugar tooth’ is so sweet. πŸ˜‚We say ‘Sweet tooth’ dont know if thats just a UK phrase.

  • @Itsjustmaria43 says:

I’m supposed to have 135g of protein a day but since I have been adding 40-50g per meal I only have 2 meals because I feel so full I can’t force my body to eat the third meal.

  • @desireebellmay2728 says:
