I say “NO” to Nitrogen Oxide too

Glad I don’t take any of these. Although I think that there’s some basis for taking AKG. The calcium version tends to be very expensive though. There’s an arginine version that’s way cheaper. The differences between the two? I’d like to know more about that actually.

It’s not a supplement but takes effort and is it worth it? I am talking muscle gain and protein powders to do this. Muscle strength and longevity links are seriously skewed by the ultra weak who will fall a lot and be hurt from it, and by those not be able to exercise at all, bed bound (hence the low muscle). If we look at who lives longest – it’s women – 8 times more likely to make 100 than men! And then it’s nearly always the skinny and slim and small in height ones. There are always the odd exceptions but we must look at majority of cases. As a cyclist I do not gain from extra upper body weight anyway, way easier on the hills. IGF-1 one could also be a factor. I do light weights to help muscle/bones and stick to RDA protein intake and keep it vegan based.

A 2024 updated Siim Land supplement tier list is in order I think. This time including other supplements like alpha lipoic acid, whey protein (concentrate vs isolate), pycnogenol, Ecklonia cava, pomegranate extract, apple peels, HMO’s, nopales (opuntia ficus indica), fucoidan, etc…

I had to back off of boron because it made me itchy. I still take calcium fructoborate though and lower doses of boron.

  • @magnusdanielsson2749 says:

What are your views on methylene blue?

    • @JamesTudsbury says:

All I can say, it works like magic in my case, but to help me get over CIRS and CFS, to get me back to normal baseline, not make me superhuman.

  • @andreiasofiei5309 says:

What are your thoughts on biofilms disruptors? A lot of issues arise from those biofilms and is not being talked about enough.

  • @captainnoyaux says:

Did you see the latest research on NMN ? I’m still skeptical about it as it sounds good but isn’t tested that much on humans yet so that’s a big step forward. The study is named
“Effects of Nicotinamide Mononucleotide Supplementation on Muscle and Liver Functions Among the Middle-Aged and Elderly: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis of Randomized Controlled Trials”

  • @GuidoDePalma says:

I believe urolithin-A helps with recovery after exercise, taking it without training is pointless. I bought 100g raw powder from China (50 times cheaper than mitopure) and took it for 4 months. I may do it again in the future. Now I’m testing TMG, which you seem to find useful, and besides the rotten fish smell, seems to be working for me.

    • @KasKade7 says:

There is a reason why it’s 50 times cheaper. Have you tested it for the compound urolithin-A or heavy metals? I would never just take something cheap from a China brand and hope for the best. Might get hidden or not so hidden side effects.

  • @csgofordummies1239 says:

I wonder if the Resveratrol stuff was purposefully misled by Sinclair and co to get that 720M sale. Very interewsting. Wouldnt doubt it. He has always seemed like a snake

    • @novak905 says:

elites buy amazing companies and products all the time just so they can Shut it down ,do you trust big pharma ? do you think they want you to live past your preset expirey date? do you believe all studies?

  • @novak905 says:

wait what? trust big pharma? im going to double my reservatrol intake lol

  • @jaredm815 says:

Can you take a look at a product called Continual G?

  • @toddupchurch1028 says:

You are mistaken about Ca AKG

  • @dikshaedythe6042 says:

    So glad don’t need Uru

CREATINE caused weight gain, cottage cheese arms, heavy upper arms. When I realized what was happening I got off right away but the photos were ruined.

I need resveratrol as a 69 year old trainer. So wait til 69.
