Somewhat similar to most overnight oats recipes I use. I might make some adjustments after watching this.

My husband (unlike me) struggles to put on weight, and loves oats! I’ll have to show him this recipe and see when we can try it 🙂 hemp hearts are new to me, I wonder if I can find some around where I live

@yukumccliggason6193 I get my Flaxseed, Hemp hearts and Chia seeds from Costco. It’s such a better price. For a small bag of chia seeds at my local store, it’s 11 dollars. 😒
You can find them in a health food store or even a regular grocery store or order them online.
I get mine at Walmart in the baking section

Do you have the macros for this? I am on a GLP-1 with lots of food allergies, and I am struggling to find nutrient dense foods. This looks delicious.

Losing weight often comes with hunger. It is what it is. Try and eat more filling foods
I don’t know if she has, but focusing on protein + fiber intake helps me. I have 2-3 eggs with meat and a veggie in the mornings; that keeps me going for a good 4-5 hours. Lunches are usually leftovers, so it can be any meat with avocado or cheese and salad greens. Dinner I like to be heavier, so a good portion of chicken or beef with veggies and maybe some rice is what I have then. Nuts, seeds and beans help round out my diet. And chocolate for PMS week 😁
@@KevinsKontentKorner Abby pretty much says in her videos that you don’t have to be hungry to lose weight. Look up her “Hunger Crushing Combos”!
@@jonap5740 I don’t agree with Abby’s diet philosophy so nah, I’m good. I’m not one who struggles to lose weight so I don’t need the advice personally

My adult child and my toddler would love this.
My nephew only lives on raw veggies and fruit. He barely ever eats enough carbs or protein, only raw veggies. My sister is desperate and tries to give him anything, as long as he eats some carbs (even when it’s chocolate, because he rarely eats more than one or two peaces). He is 5 now, we don’t know where he got this from, definitely not from us.😅🤷♀️
I’ve never put heavy cream before in it, I do tend to do better with a higher fat in my morning I’ve noticed. Some protein, and a little bit of carbs. With milk I usually half and half it My milk is usually 2% but sometimes whole milk or 2% or rarely 1%.

@AbbeysKitchen I have a super picky 3 year old. I’d love to learn more about childhood nutrition. I’m constantly worried he’s not getting what he needs to grow properly. Would love to see some content on this subject. – stressed mama
Use muesli. Bob’s Red Mill muesli is so good!! I would not mix the banana in, once in the bowl add in pretty slices on top. And I’d definitely leave the oats creamy not dry. A tip, if they turn out dry like in the video add milk once in the bowl to lower the temperature and make them creamy. Learn how creamy or dry your kids like it for sure. And do fresh strawberries! 😋
