I went on a spiritual awakening in February this year, then in August lost my mom… I went through that very well, I knew where she was, but 3 weeks after,my thyroid out of whack and I gained weight 😒

    • @LoveSweatFitness says:

I’m so so sorry for your loss! I know what I told I can take on our physical bodies and hope you’re doing OK

I appreciate you and your inspiration! Thank you. 😊

Back in school I couldn’t gain weight. I’m 4”11 and I weighed 85lbs. I would eat but wouldn’t gain weight. I would cry because people would call me anorexic and tell me to go and eat a hamburger. I just had a supper fast metabolism. My 17yr old daughter is the same way she’s 5’4 and weigh 82lbs she eats but like me she’s just tiny and don’t gain weight. Luckily she’s not getting teased for it like I was. Now at 45yrs old I am having problems losing weight

    • @LoveSweatFitness says:

Oh wow thank you for saying this! I’m so sorry you went through that, but your right – people don’t often realize it can go both ways 🀍

I started taking my health more seriously this year. Listening to my body and mind. I’m now on the road to become a Functional Nutritionist with my nursing degree. ❀

  • @erikasmiley7495 says:

Thanks for your honesty! So many young women struggle with this! ❀

  • @heyshay3337 says:

It’s the labels that other people put on us that are the hardest to shed. We take what others say to heart and that makes it harder to be who you truly want to be. I’ve struggled with weight for a long as i can remember but only because others put their insecurities on me and said i was overweight when I was actually normal. Thank you for this video, you are an inspiration Katie ❀

I just wanted to thank for when back in 2016 I messaged you on messenger about personal issues I was going through. I had no idea you would respond back, I just wanted to vent and say how I feel and something told me to reach out to you. You responded back to me and shared with me your own story, and you gave me encouragement. I don’t know if you remember because it was so long ago, but I just wanted to let you know how much your words saved me. I hope I can meet you one day so I can thank you in person. Thank you so much Katie. I will forever be grateful to you

    • @LoveSweatFitness says:

Hiii! Oh wow Brandy that is so beautiful – Thank you for sharing that! I would have never known that it meant to much and I just feel so blessed I was able to help in some small way even

I can relate to your journey. This had been rough for me starting in middle school. It definitely is not easy. I have hypothyroidism too. I have to work hard to stay in shape. Right now, I am in PT for my shoulder and neck, but I know things will get back on track soon.

  • @carlyhaskins7 says:

I have hypo thyroid also! Thank you for being such an inspiration!

We have similar stories. Dieting starving. Endless amounts of cardio. Working out after eating a treat food. Binging all or nothing thinking. Low carb so on

  • @kristalaugust6376 says:

I have been trying to workout more and am following WW now for 3 1/2 weeks but I just keep fluctuating with losing and gain about 4 lbs and I just can’t seem to go lower. 😒

    • @LoveSweatFitness says:

Keep in mind the scale and go up and down as much as 3-5lbs day to day based on what you ate, time of month, workouts etc.

  • @KatieTebay says:

I would love to hear more specifics on your hashimotos and hypothyroidism and the specific diet/lifestyle/supplement etc changes that helped with your condition.
