I don’t know if this will help with bad breath but Calendula helps with infections of the mouth. It has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for a very long time. I use it as a tincture
to get ride of any infections in the mouth after dentistry. It has the same healing effect as chlorhexidine only it takes longer. Once a day in the evening and in three weeks all infections are gone…

  • @Squishbiscuits says:

Any facts on Tonsil stones??? I have done everything my dentist recommended and I eat a plant-based diet, but nothing seems to fully get rid of them.

    • @o0xXirisXx0o says:

Get rid of the tonsils, works a treat. I used to wake up with a sore throat and bad breath for years and was always ill, after I got surgery I rarely get a cold and the sore throat and bad breath are gone. Downside is that it is quite painful to take them out if you’re not a kid anymore.

Anyone here shouting “Put it to the Test!” aloud when prompted?

  • @ki5ngau says:

I found that if you chew on one fresh white button mushroom after a meal will keep my super fresh. My mouth would feel like just water afterward. If you are afraid of cancer from uncooked mushroom then just spit out the chewed mushroom after chewing.

I can’t drink green tea because of my immunosuppressant medications, but I’m allowed black tea. I wonder if this would work almost as well.

  • @gregmeissner9960 says:

  • @susanweiler4948 says:

My mother told me when she was little she used green tea to rinse her mouth after eating. She was a WW2 survivor from the war in Okinawa. She didn’t have access to toothpaste during that time period. Tea rinsing prevented tooth decay for her.

  • @Babesinthewood97 says:

I have noted that onions and garlic heals my bleeding gums, and not eating garlic and onion causes bleeding gums. I’ve seen this happen during a period of 10 years. I can only assume that they actually have a positive effect on gum health.
