worked out great for him. not so much for most vegans.. IMO>..

  • @fuzonzord9301 says:

IMO the biggest problem for physical fitness is joints.

  • @HealthSpan01 says:

    Absolutely inspiring

  • @GlobalHealthPathways says:

Is there something special about veganism that allows people to live exceptionally long lives?

    • @lulunanchi says:

It’s thought that it’s not the lack of meat, but the excess amounts of antioxidants found in fruits and veg that can increase longevity in vegans.

    • @boossersgarage3239 says:

      nope

    • @qwert911 says:

It’s high in polyphenols, fiber, and other micronutrients and low on saturated fat.

    • @RaulEdu33 says:

Only works for a handful of individuals. I’ve tried a couple of times, and it gave me acne, neuropathy and restless leg syndrome.

    • @wewlad107 says:

Antioxidants are the important factor, veganism ended badly for me, ended up with weakened immune system, fatigue, and getting pale despite doing “everything right” according to vegans (which many of them just think is a few supplements (it’s not, there’s a lot more missing))

Now I just do a primarily whole foods diet and it’s working fantastically

  • @kristinek7436 says:

    Thank you for doing this.

  • @carolinemcallister1473 says:

His body is surviving off the benefits of eating meat most of his life. Then, is he really not having any meat/fish? What do his bones look like?

    • @Angelo2Death says:

Which nutrient was he getting that benefits him for decades later? To my understanding there is nothing special in meat, besides cholesterol, which our bodies make / is not essential.

    • @fireroc2 says:

There’s a lot of meat eaters that have died before him. I don’t think it’s the meat eaters

    • @qwert911 says:

Dude is currently living WAY longer that of the average meat eater (or vegan for that matter) but according to you he’s just skating off the magical meat nutrients that have persisted in his body for the past 30+ years. Call me crazy but he is clearly doing something right. Maybe let’s learn something from this case study rather than try to knock him down a peg.

    • @wewlad107 says:

@@Angelo2Death Your understanding is built off of vegan propaganda. The human body isn’t adapted to survive solely off of plants, we are omnivores and our ancestors survived the ice age thanks to hunting adaptation

    • @wewlad107 says:

@@qwert911 “average meat eater” you mean the average processed modern diet eater? How many meat eaters do you know that are eating clean sourced, whole food diet, properly raised animals on their natural diet free of growth hormones? Oh that’s right, the studies that say meat is unhealthy doesn’t differentiate between chic fil a fried chicken and pasture raised grass fed beef, and the few studies that do show the obvious result that meat eaters who eat clean whole foods are very healthy individuals.

  • @Angelo2Death says:

    Whole foods plant-based is GOAT.

  • @jimbarrack says:

Phytochemicals and the research of Dr. Sebi is a good place for those interested.

  • @hypersky2004 says:

Ok, that’s it. I’m going WFPB today.

  • @jlvandat69 says:

Outstanding video…..an incredible story. There’s still a whole lot we don’t know about longevity, so Mike’s journey is well-worth considering. Thanks Siim.

  • @Al-hk6yi says:

all good but all good on his genetic and as always a bit of luck

  • @ClaudeDiamond says:

Great story, very motivating-More like this Siim-thank you🙂

  • @simonphuket7782 says:

He eats fish! That is not vegan!
