THE CONTENT IVE BEEN NEEDING FOR A WHOLE YEAR😭 I transitioned back to eating fish and eggs around a year ago after 7 years of PB eating and honestly the biggest anxiety for me was people finding out… there were a plethora of reasons I decided to reintroduce certain foods and honestly it’s helped my mental health so much – NOTHING to do with ‘veganism’ or the nature of being PB but things happened in my life that meant it became really mentally and logistically challenging – take home message: stop fucking judging people’s needs and choices!!!

  • @Morning-doom says:

We have weaponized food and made it political. Congratulations 😜😜😜

  • @shirfree says:

Do you ever have an opinion?

    • @carolinespurr1541 says:

She expressed it quite clearly. Majority plant based diets are overall better for your health and the environment, but there are some cases where totally eliminating animal products can be detrimental to your health and/or relationship to food. Sometimes it’s best to step away from the all or nothing mentality, but you can still eat primarily plant based. There’s no one magical way of eating for perfect health that works for everyone; anyone who tells you differently is trying to sell you something.

    • @emccoy says:

@@carolinespurr1541yeah it was a very educated answer. Which if you really want to dumb it down is “no To bodies are the same and have diffrent needs. So don’t judge people on what they eat.”

  • @fireflyforest7584 says:

My issue is that she says “who has added protein to her diet” as if you can’t get protein eating vegan.

    • @lornam4596 says:

She’s not known for being intelligent.

    • @kelseymullenix6711 says:

I think she just mistakenly forgot to say “animal” before the word protein. I’m sure Lizzo, who has showcased her pretty dedicated workout routine over the years, knows about protein sources and how to track them. I don’t think she is demonizing the vegan lifestyle (which is great and a huge relief!) I just think maybe she didn’t think to make that distinction.

  • @J_Fine1582 says:

    “…with proper supplementation…”

That’s all I need to hear.

  • @lornam4596 says:

I’ve been a strict vegan for 20 years. No blood test issues or health problems. No shortage of protein.

    • @benjaminacuna8013 says:

Congrats not everyone’s genetics work the same way…..

    • @michellekawczinski says:

Yeah, I had to stop being vegan after 2,5 years even though I ate very balanced and supplemented a couple things. I got sick a lot 🤧 and my gut just could never get used to the high fiber content if you try to eat on the high protein side. Colon problems run in my family though 🤷🏻‍♀️

    • @Cliodhna-z1i says:

Imagine even trying to be protein deficient while eating plant based.

  • @josie3571 says:

That color looks excellent on you 🙂

  • @danielsoya8435 says:

Pant based and vegan weakens you

    • @eco_aquamarine3455 says:

lol tell that to my perfect blood tests after 10 years of vegan, I’m also a professional pole dancer so “weak” isn’t even close to true, I’m stronger than I’ve ever been in my life

    • @JazCue90 says:

Daniel. What are you 10 years old? You’re too young for social media. Go outside and play.

  • @MagicShow-y4e says:

It is always about things that serves you the best, don’t always follow what people do

  • @brokenenglish7242 says:

Lizzo is sued for sexual assault by her former dancers and she’s allegedly fatphobic herself, maybe don’t act like that didn’t happen? I literally don’t care about her diet👎

  • @emccoy says:

I was hypoglycemic as a child and have been prediabetic for 10 years with out ever becoming fully diabetic. I find the easiest way for me to maintain my blood sugar is with animal protine. I’ve tried alternate protines but animal protines genraly just work better for me. (I do eat a lot of beans though)

I am also buddhist, and i would prefer spiritually to eliminate meat. But as i explained to a vegan once that my religion treats vegetarianism as a goal and not a requirements especially if the reasons are for my health. I also explained that with the forced labor used in the care of produce in the US means his food wasnt exactly as ethically sorced as he thought.

  • @Winterliebende says:

I eat mostley plant-based but I sometimes eat cheese or white chocolate. I still deeply care for the animals and the environment… so I am not fully vegan but I don’t think things need to be always black and white.
My issue with Lizzo is what she (allegedly) done to her dancers and beeing fatphobic while claiming to be the queen of body positivity.

  • @alrighttumbleweed4782 says:

It’s almost as if she was vegan for weight loss and now she’s on the zempic she doesn’t feel the need to diet anymore

    • @sugahoney89 says:

She was vegan for a long time and lost zero weight. You gain weight on a vegan diet as most people just eat high grains/carb diet.

  • @SGMSGM-wq9dd says:

Abbey your information slays and so does your fit/hair/makeup Go Off Queen ❤

  • @VampireEmpiree33 says:

These people are always so delusional lmao

  • @eco_aquamarine3455 says:

Can we please stop saying vegan is a diet? Vegan is a lifestyle that’s about way more than food and impacts many other areas of life. Vegans eat a plant based diet. The proper term is “plant based diet” not “vegan diet”.

  • @drklawz9179 says:

Of course let’s just completely forget the ethical implications where animals have to die and suffer just because you’re too lazy to take a supplement or have a slight issue with digestion 🤷🏾‍♀️

  • @meghnagill7272 says:

    Thanks for addressing this.

  • @kybelle457 says:

Completely off topic, but your gorgeous green eyes really pop in the video. Must be the green jacket.😂😂😂😂
