I think you do look healthier in the last couple of months. Your eyelids used to be darker. Perhaps either your skin thickened or your circulation improved in your eyelids? Do you attribute this to any change in your regimen?

I think I get some “Hypoxia-training” while swimming, simply because breathing is a bit restricted.

Thanks Siim. Regarding the mold problem……the topic of indoor air quality is conspicuously seldom discussed. I had experience in this an HVAC engineer, mostly in commercial buildings where indoor air quality is treated far more seriously than in residential buildings. It’s a sorely neglected topic, and my hunch is that there’s a significant number of people experiencing various types of health issues as a result of prolonged breathing of ‘polluted air’ within their homes. It’s a complex discussion with many variables. Ironically, in the USA it’s the newer homes that are more susceptible to poor indoor air quality because newer building codes basically require a new home to be sealed up, with little or no fresh air being introduced. There’s a relatively cheap, effective way to ensure your home is properly ventilated. With adequate ventilation, problematic substances such as mold or fumes from household cleaning products are more likely to be kept at minimum levels. One way to monitor the fresh air in any space is via a CO2 monitor. These are cheap, and will detect carbon dioxide levels. If the CO2 levels get above, say 1000 ppm (normal outside air has about 500 ppm) then there’s inadequate ventilation and the chance toxic levels of pollutants are building up. In testing I did, there was sometimes 70-80% of homes in a given area with high CO2 levels. The big problem is that a home can have unhealthy air causing mild to serious health issues (usually respiratory) for years and go undetected. And different people have different levels of sensitivities to poor air quality., so it’s a complex problem that can exist for decades.
