Great tutorial, I love that you get straight to the point, no waffling for ages before you demonstrate what to do. Great job!

  • Jill Farr says:

IT WORKED!!!!!  OMG!  Just a little excited here!!!  I’m almost 63 years old, have all the “usual suspects” when it comes to eye makeup “troublespots”, and have been struggling with that darn winged look FOREVER!  Thank you so much for this simple, amazing trick.  As soon as I finished watching the video, I went in and gave it a try.  Worked like a charm and was so easy, it didn’t even break me out into a sweat!  Thanks again for this game-changer!!  xoxo

    • fabulous50s says:

Thanks for making me laugh +Jill Farr! I’m so happy it worked for you…Have an amazing day ❤️

    • Maria Rossi says:

That’s wonderful, Jill. I’ve struggled forever trying to create the cat-eye winged look but this gives me hope. I’m so glad you had success with it!

    • missy dee says:

Me too!!!! I always wondered how my mom did it – in all my childhood pics she had that look but when I decided to try it, it would never work and I’d wonder how she did it without YouTube to teach her! LOL I tried it today for the first time with eyeshadow and it was pretty easy and it came out pretty good but the shadow would sprinkle around the outside and I’d have to brush it off so it got a little messy but I’m sure when I try it with a regular liner it’ll be great thanks so much!!!

    • Judy Bunnell says:

@fabulous50s are eye primer and shadow primer the same thing? Also, my eyes are super sensitive and water like crazy. Will the liner still stay on the water line without flaking into my eye?

    • Emma Dee says:

Jill Farr if I can pull it off, we ALL NEED TO POP A TOP!!

  • Linda Fazldeen says:

Yours is the only online tutorials that I find speaks honestly to ‘mature age’ women. thank you for your consistently positive messages that show we can still look great.

  • Jojo says:

  • Helen Mclean says:

Thank you for that. My mum was going to a posh event. Together, we made her gown And, I applied her make up in accordance with your advice. She looked incredible. My dad could not take his eyes off her!
So thank you so very much from me, my mum and also, my dad.

  • FollowersofYeshuaHaMashiach says:

I have been searching on and off for a few months now to find a video that showed me precisely the HOW of eyeliner and eyemakeuop in general. Ive seen many very good videos – this is the ONE I was able to go right ahead and use. Agree too this is a lovely lady who ever so gently happens to be a great teacher. Had the same reaction as you…..Gaby

    • Lottie L says:

I totally agree. I have a gel eyeliner that I know this will work fantastic with. The little triangle at the corner…. It has never been explained that way to me before. AND this video confirmed use eyeshadow for lining the lower lid. I have been playing with that but now I know it is better and why.
