    i do all my day in zone 1 (job). I lift weights some times. But i never lost my two times a week zone 5 (jumps)

    good one but there are other submaximal tests with an AI controlled bike able to estimate quite accurately both VO2max and FTP. Still the gold standard is the “real” test.

    Excellent breakdown of VO2 max and training! I do interval training With sprints once a week but I also do a kickboxing workout! I perform the kickboxing workout twice a week I do 5 minutes of work and during 1 minute break I will do a active recovery and I repeat that for 7 total rounds. I use a heavy bag and shadow boxing. I also do strength training on my off days. And I am 68 years old and I mention that only because this is a longevity channel and exercise is the fountain of youth!
