    Being a ballerina, she probably can eat what she wants, she is also very young. Her body rocks, but peeps, she working out and stretching and practicing ballet 8 hours a day!

    She didn’t insinuate anything. She’s an athlete and if she wants to do a body check she can do a body check. It’s her body and her choice.

    I agree that showing herself body checking was a bit unnecessary and can be triggering.

    However, as a former gymnast and dancer you are constantly looking at your body, form, technique, etc. You may not even think twice about it as there are studios built with the interior walls entirely covered in mirrors.

    Thankfully I am seeing a variety of healthy, even more muscular ballerinas at many competitions and in performance companies now. Whew, thank Goddess.

      Lori is not a good example. As a former ballerina I can assure you most ballerinas hide how little they eat to avoid scrutiny and to not want to encourage others. she seems to be doing the good ol do as I say and show, not as I actually do. Her other videos show her surviving off black coffee, limiting her protein two two little pieces of tofu the size of a quarter. Many influencers lie about what they eat to appear more healthy or to disguise their restriction. Also she never shows herself eating her whole portion which are already tiny to begin with. Ballet is extremely toxic but I think she’s at least trying to tell others to be balanced. To add insult to injury the calories she’s consuming is very low for how active she is. Please look closer. Things may appear to be balanced on the plate but I suspect things are different behind camera. I’m no dietician though so who am I. This is just my experience with two decades in the industry.
