Not the best correlate. Gymnast for example are shorter (by default live longer) ,pole vaulters are very symmetrical, thin and good looking (good genetic quality). Perhaps I’m wrong
The problem is that all these sports have health pre-requisites.Someone who can do them professionally will be healthier on average in the first place.

I haven’t heard that professional athletes live shorter, what is said is that they look older and that’s due to the wear and tear during their professional years. It’s true that sports are healthy but when you demand so much to the body with minimal time to recover (as is the case with professional athletes) that excessive exercise causes a lot of oxidative stress, and that’s why they look older than they really are
