She’s doing very good and it’s nice that she’s learning to stay healthy πŸ‘πŸΌ hermosa niΓ±a, Dios la cuide, you are such a great momπŸ’•

  • @RG-lg3mj says:

So proud of your daughter. I really do think that it’s important for her to share her story so she can help other kids her age. She is a great role model for eating healthy.

    • @BeatrizVasquez-r5l says:

Yea I would love to comment that keeping the weight off is the bigger challenge. At her age I lost weight but gained it all back… I repeated that same cycle again in my early twenties, I’m now in the last 2 months of my twenties. Since watching her channel I’ve kept the weight off caz she makes healthy food that dosnt taste nasty.

  • @christinacee8512 says:

I’d love to know her shopping list and what she found helped her most along her journey.
    Thanks for all you do!!

  • @earthysoulgirl says:

    • @BeatrizVasquez-r5l says:

Side Note: Your audio is very low when you do these sit down videos.

  • @gloriaguerrero613 says:

I love your common sense approach to eating and parenting. It’s also very refreshing to see how down to earth you are.

  • @missiris1234 says:

She is so young to make a decision to be on YouTube. I know you are a great mom and will protect her

  • @Ms.MD7 says:

I’m so happy for your daughter. Her age is soo important where her body is the healthiest and can continue to live healthy. My mom was always so sweet and spoiled me but it also leas to unhealthy eating because she never said no to me. I wish I took my health more seriously when I was teen.

    • @bethrocks says:

Same here! My mom struggled with her weight and she would go on jenny craig/weight watchers and she saw I was an obese child. She never told me I needed to lose weight but she would sort of diet her way and try to get me interested in trying it. Which I did but i still loved my junk food πŸ™ I ended up losing my weight as a young adult and have kept a lot off, but still struggle to lose more

  • @AnitaSolution says:

The weight is a symptom of insulin resistance forming, so this is not only appropriate, but fantastic for her health!! What a great mom ❀

  • @yanirisencarnacion04 says:

Hi Mayra, thank you for this video. I now realize that I been pushing my 17 year old son too hard about losing weight and it’s only pushing him to do the opposite. He’s a big kid 275lbs almost 6ft I thought I was doing the right thing Thank you for opening my eyes. This past weekend he came to me and ask me if I can meal prep for him healthy foods. Because he sees me doing my meal prep. I can’t wait until the video with your daughter so I can send it to him to see if he gets more motivated.

  • @SusanCoughlin-wu7fl says:

Congrats to your daughter! She is your twin – two beautiful girls.

  • @MPA2172 says:

She has such a good support system for her health journey. Some kids grown up skinny and never learn good nutrition, it either hinders their adulthood or they still don’t worry about nutrition. She will be so fortunate to have a healthy knowledge of what nourishes her body at such a young age.

  • @terrylooper4649 says:

So happy for your daughter. I’d love to see her on your videos and hear her story. I’m 66 and what an inspiration to hear her tips on losing weightπŸŽ‰

  • @MomofFivesandbox says:

Way to go. I love seeing young girls take control of their health. My daughter is 14 and she was overweight. She started becoming aware of what she eats and drink. She has lost 20 pounds and is now at a normal weight. I feel the same about not wanting her to be having to be unhealthy and the emotional trauma of being overweight or obese. Thanks for sharing.

  • @rocknrollgrl says:

I think you inspire a lot of people. You make it look fun and not boring, to eat healthy.
