    I’ve noticed this in the past, my heart speeds up a lot when I breathe. I was preparing for bad news until 1:20 in the video, turns out, my heart is normal.

    Love it. Clear information, cool little test and usual pun in the end without some rat testicle study rabbit hole/side path that lead scientists (and listeners) to no significant result or cliff hangers to find out in the next video that never came:) 🙃

    I’m 48, lifelong athlete (cyclist) no meat since 1996 and vegan since 2017. I’ve suspected for a while my diet had just as significant effect as my exercising. I often see 120-150 hrv if I’m rested. Training hard it goes down to 50 ish the same as if I drink more than 2 beers!

    Been practicing it for last 11 years. it is called ” PRANAYAMA ” Controlled Yogic breathing techniques…. many of the Hatha-Yoga which is known in the west as simply Yoga postures, also come with slow, controlled breathing… It is AMAZING ! Recommend to all !

    Doing sprints once or twice a week is the best way to improve heart rate variability
