Choosing the Safest and Most Effective Sunscreen (webinar recording)

Given that the absorption of chemicals in sunscreen into our bloodstream is greater than previously thought, what are the safest types of sunscreen? Has it been proven to prevent skin aging and cancer?

Up to 90 percent of visible facial aging is due to sun exposure. Randomized controlled trials have put the daily application of sunscreen to the test for both slowing skin aging and preventing skin cancer. In this one-hour webinar recording, Dr. Greger goes over the pros and cons of regular use of sunscreen, details the best way to apply it, and discusses how to choose the safest brands, which is of particular importance, given recent findings that the absorption of chemicals in sunscreen into our bloodstream is greater than previously thought.

His live stuff is always “aahhb baahhhb…”
His shorty stuff is always a fraction of the story-wait two days for the next installment.
The whole walking bobbing around FACE in your FACE stuff is more than I can take (I listen as long as I can stand it-but never watch). Been reading/watching Dr. G’s stuff for over a decade now.
And I had already put my mineral-based SS on before starting this vid. I work outdoors and cover-up mostly. SS for my face and back of hands. Sleeves and hats take care of the rest.

      Avoid the sun.

If you will be in the sun, use mineral base sunscreens per directions.

@@wadepatton2433 I always miss the second part of the story, I doubt they realise how frustrating/anti-informative that is!

  • @toddhathaway6864 says:

How about eating your sunscreen? Eating plants that protect themselves from the sun, does that pass on to us?

  • @cyclist5000 says:

    TLDR?

  • @suissesumire says:

My skin was becoming flaking really badly after using a supplement of pure vitamin B12.
