Very yummy!❤❤
Skyr so good!
Agreed. I much prefer to Greek yogurt
@AutumnBates is there a way to make Skyr at home? I so loved your video on making my own Greek yogurt and would totally make my own skyr.
You can, but it’s more complex than Greek yogurt. I haven’t done it yet
I really hope it tastes 100 times better than Greek yogurt because I can’t stomach that
Sounds like all advantages greek. Except for protein. So eat a little more Greek and you have the xtra protein..
But I will try the other for taste.
Thanks.
I just used your recipe yesterday to make Greek yogurt. It turned out perfect! I did purchase and use a yogurt strainer which made the process sooooo much easier.
Dr Davis’ l reuteri “yogurt”
Team Greek yogurt here! Thank you Autumn. 👍❤️
I have lactose tolerance issues with dairy, but don’t have the issue with skyr. I do however have issues with greek yogurt. I wonder if it depends on the brand.
I also have lactose intolerance and I haven’t had any problems with either of them😊
I want FAT, not good to me. Ty I learn Sooo much from you!!
Check the Salt. You will find cheaper Greek Yogurt has more salt. If salt is not a problem cheap is the way to go.
Skyr is delicious. I discovered it somewhat recently.
Hi Autumn- I’ve gotten into making my own DIY Greek yogurt (and Bone Broth) every 7-10 days. These are mainstays of my WOE. I just strain my yogurt through a dedicated‘yogurt only’ muslin cloth for about 40 minutes and it’s very dense. I save the whey and sometimes add a bit back into the yogurt when consuming it to make it thinner. I use whey or bone broth in place of water when cooking, especially into the bone broth 😁. Love your channel 😍. Hope the final days of your pregnancy are going smoothly and your feet aren’t swelling up too much.😅 THANKS for your video!👍Much appreciated ❤❤❤
I have a dumb question. Is it possible to mix the Greek and Skyr together to get the benefits of both ?
I went to Iceland in 2013 and they would have this everywhere. They would always have it at the complimentary breakfast at our hotel and we fell in love with it. It was awesome to start seeing it get popular here.
I’m an American who’s currently sitting in England eating Skyr and berries for lunch whilst watching this video 😉.
Great information!
You know all those LMNT flavored powdered drinks all contain maltodextrin right?
I live in Canada and I buy Siggi’s skyr with 3.6% fat. 24gr protein per cup. Cream is added to increase fat. A big plus 100% Canadian milk!
The Greek yogurt I get has a lower carb count than Skyr, so I’ve gone back to that.
🌞 Awesome breakdown! 🥣
Thanks, Autumn! ⚘️
Cheers! ☕️🕊❤️✨️🐬
