Snacking is absolutely the worst for health in general and for weight loss goals. I struggle with it and can attest to how detrimental it is for me.

  • @lorensims4846 says:

Back in the day (thousands of years ago) carbohydrates were only available in the summer and fall.
We can only eat so much protein and fat before we are satisfied and just don’t want any more. In fact, if we continue to eat more we will get nauseous and our bodies will reject it.
We have no such trigger for carbohydrates. That’s because we have to eat as much carbohydrate as we can whenever we find it because we need to pack on as much weight as we can before winter comes when food will become scarce. In the depth of winter, those who survive will be those who have enough stored body fat to live off of.
This is why all our big feast festivals are in the late fall and early winter. Last chance to pack on a few more pounds before there’s no more food.
Of course, nowadays, carbs are everywhere all the time and we just can’t seem to stop eating them, even in the dark days of winter.

Peanut butter is crack for me.

  • @CrazyMaryJo says:

I find that a late ⏰ morning breakfast of a bed of lettuce topped with chopped tomato, avocado, hemp hearts, flaxseed, a burger, salt is so satiating, that I am not hungry for 6-8 hours.

Following your AEN Nutrient Timing I don’t have snacks or have the appetite for them. I have noticed that when I feel like having one it is because I want to comfort myself. I am annoyed or sad and a sweet treat is an escape. I know that now. Snacking doesn’t comfort me, it only makes things worse. Have a great day and thank you for the video.💪❤️🇨🇦

Those protein bars never did it for me and now I know why. I don’t snack much, but I am trying to get more healthy fruits in my diets & now I know to pair them with protein. Thanks Autumn.

What about the magic spoon cereal bars for a sweet snack?

  • @bateschiro says:

    Thank you 🙏

  • @jilll4649 says:

Ready made hard boiled eggs (make sure no citric acid). You can even make quick deviled egg with mustard. A few baby carrots. Crunch helps.
Nobody wants to cook a snack. We want to just grab it quick.

Would you do a video on the different types of “natural” sweeteners? Are they healthy for the gut biome?
