Eat a whole foods, plant based diet. Simple.

I’m expecting the next video in this fascinating series to be: which foods are best at increasing GLP-1 levels?
I love me some Dr Gregor, but this one missed the mark. Lots and lots of science and science jargon, but no practical advice on which foods raise GLP 1 levels enough to suppress appetite.
Most overweight/obese people already try to eat less and exercise more. But there’s a wolverine inside us that wants to eat MORE. The meds tame that wolverine.
If there are healthy foods that can tame the wolverine, please let me know.
Prediction- spinach
Fibre containing, micronutrient rich (=whole) foods, calorie density not too high. Particularly salads, beans and lentils: second meal effect, high in plant protein.
.. and sports. Particularly when fun (intrinsic motivation, doesn’t trigger reward binge eating), when it heats / sweats and mechanically impacts the body (fundamental body feedback signals exposing excess fat layers as obstacles instead of useful energy reserves), and when fueled as necessary by HCLF (fat burns in the fire of carbs).
Bad eg would be swimming, even causing weight gain by driving excess appetite: cold, no sweating, no impact, likely boring.

Same here… what was actually the message(s)… ? Usually, it’s all super clear…
@@squarz I think it cleared some of the problems with comparing the drug version and naturally boosting GLP-1. It is not a straight forward comparison. I think the message was yes, you can lower apetite by boosting GLP-1 naturally even if the blood concentration is lower than with the drug.
