Can Diet Soda Reduce Belly Fat Risk?
Download my Free 0,1,2,3 Strategy:
Diet soda is not a healthy drink by any stretch of the imagination. However, a study involving more than a thousand participants showed that while drinking sugar-sweetened soda caused a significant increase in belly fat, drinking diet soda did not. After the six-year study period, diet soda consumption was not associated with belly fat gain. Is diet soda the solution to weight loss? We’ll explore the study and address that question in this video.

As I am drinking a Coke Zero to start my day 😂😅
Thank you so very much for this information!!! I am trying to QUIT. I think it makes me more hungry at night 😢
What about Zero sugar sodas?
They’re the same as diet soda. It’s just a name change that is more modern.
Diet Sodas are addictive but I love the fizzy drinks.🥤
Spite is my favorite for someone reason it doesn’t stop me from losing weight.
Thanks Dr Becky!! Love your soothing voice! Lord bless you and yours
❣️ Love the plants ❣️
For decades, I drank a ton of diet soda. I gave it up a few years back thinking it would help my health. I have not noticed any difference to my health. I due miss the pleasure it brought me.
Kills good bugs in your belly
I reduced my longtime Coke Zero intake from 3 cans to 1 recently – and none for the last few days. That and following Dr Becky’s guidelines on sugar are having an effect on the scale!
💙
I’ve been sugar free for nearly 2 months. And have lost about 5 lbs. At the same time went without processed foods (anything with more than that item and salt). It was a 30 day challenge not a forever thing that wasn’t so hard to just keep doing. All of your suggestions are easily doable if you can allow yourself to not get bogged down in “forever” thinking.
I drink diet soda all the time. I’m still dropping 3 1/2 to 4 pounds a week.
Great for cleaning diesel off jeans..so I think it must be horrible to injest.
BAD
substitute diet soda with sparkling water with lemon
Ironically, I gave up Diet Coke for over 2 years now and I actually gained like 75 lbs due to a combination of things, but when I was a diet coke drinker, I found that it kept my cravings down and probably my weight. Let me find out Diet Coke is Ozempic 😅
You’re awesome
Diet Dr Pepper/Zero is the least of my worries. It has no carbs or sugar and that is my goal right now. I cut back just a little because I don’t like the cost and the plastic but I have no plans to give it up completely. I drink at least 80 ounces of water per day and only have my soda with lunch and dinner. I am happy with this arrangement. ✌🏻
