      Nothing wrong with what she said. People have different triggers, elimination diets shouldn’t be advertised as a permanent solution.
      For example, trough trial and error I found out my stomach doesn’t tolerate apples. No particular reason, they just cause my stomach to get really upset few hours after eating. That obiviously doesn’t mean I shouldn’t eat any fruits or that others should avoid apples.

      ​@@mandi3891 Incorrect. Almost everything she says is wrong and she has been exposed by experts. Starchy foods are not beneficial for the gut – they are contraindicated!

    Depending on how badly your gut is damaged,it could take couple of years on Gaps to heal.You will not damage your microbiome,the broth is healing.Like the old saying a good broth can revive a dead person It is true.Also if you have a lot of endotoxin,feeding it starch will make your condition so much worse.You will bloat like a baloon.But i do not think they teach you that in nutrition school.That is more an MD issue.Resistant starch or any starch for that matter is only beneficial for a healthy gut,which very few people have
