I started using berberine at the end of August. Within 3 weeks I noticed my waistline started to return.
I have always been fit, eat well and work out. I teach fitness. However, March 2020 came along and my gym closed. Not motivated enough to workout at home. Got into the habit of eating cake and cookies all afternoon with tea. I probably gained almost 30 lbs. MISERABLE.
Researched berberine. I’m down 25 lbs since last August. It’s great for diabetics. Although I am not diabetic.

    • @jerispring says:

How much berberine d I you take? I have made a tincture of Barberry.

I just took one capsule with each meal. I only eat lunch and dinner so I take two a day. I’m very impressed with it.

    • @Shimmer2277 says:

@@gerrimcgrath6878Congratulations on your success with your weight and your health. I’m interested in taking Berberine. Would you please share the brand they you take? Thank you.

    • @dora9368 says:

I’ve heard good things about berberine. Where do you get yours from?

I get mine at a local supplement store where I live or order on line

I use the white kidney bean carb blockers. I’ve lost 300lbs with no ozempic or surgery.
Personal experience is that I’m always going to have to stay low carb because I obviously do not process carbs correctly because as soon as I introduce them even at a lower amount, I have a 5+ weight gain.

    • @susanoffutt2696 says:

      Good for you!! That’s fabulous

    • @miriamgriffin6462 says:

Hi @christinet.4159 thanks for posting. I am not familiar with white kidney bean carb blockers. I know carbs are bad for me and on a low carb diet as well. Do you recommend white kidney bean carb blockers if you have 20 lbs left to go? Do you recommend a good brand? Thanks in advance! Miriam

    • @PaperclipProphets says:

Yes, good for you! May I ask what are white kidney carb blockers? Are you referring to simply eating white kidney beans 🫘

    • @jacqulynhilyard1561 says:

Can you tell me about this white kidney bean carb blocker? I had never heard of it and definitely need to lose a lot.

    • @sherrycheek2601 says:

I used the carb blockers but they make me so constipated! Sorry if that TMI but if I could get around that problem I would take them every day. The same for me is a low carb diet to continuously lose weight. TIA

  • @rockmygypsysoul9553 says:

I want to thank you again. You are right about what we are not taught. Since listening to you, I have learned those bad oils are inflammatory for me. My stomach and my joints pay for it when I eat things that are bad for me. Another thing I have come to realize is how much I eat when I’m bored and I also have that terrible habit of eating while watching TV. I’m aware now and instead I will occupy my hands with other things even if it’s just playing a game on my phone. I also just eat smaller meals and my stomach seems to be happier. As much as I would like to get rid of the extra pounds, I just want to feel better and small steps are working for me. I’m listening to you and my body. Thank you so much!

  • @badsoutherngirl says:

I took ozempic and lost 50 lbs. I’m diabetic so it was prescribed for that. While it did get my blood sugar under control, it caused terrible digestive issues, so I stopped. I have never gained weight back so quickly! I was pushed and pushed by my doctor to take weightloss/diabetic meds. Never again. It will all be diet and exercise from now on.

    • @texastea5686 says:

My mom’s friend took it and looks so gaunt from her face and so sickly and always at the ER for severe stomach pain =(

  • @janmartin1408 says:

Totally agree with you in choosing a lifestyle that is sustainable for the rest of your life. I have been a Wt. Watcher’s Lifetimer since about 1980. I gained about 10 lbs during that 44 year life journey but for the most part I have been below goal now and most of that time. It is because it is sustainable for me. I feel great!

  • @user-zk4td7li4s says:

I get it! I’ve lost 141 lbs in 4 yrs. It is absolutely true!! 🌹

  • @YasmineGalenornOfficial says:

I am just coming off Ozempic, after only 3 weeks on. I was on it for my A1C, because I have a chronic illness that makes low carb much harder than it used to be (I have MCAS). The first two weeks on the drug (one shot a week), was okay. It did really cut my appetite to the point of where I was worried. But the third shot? MASSIVE gut issues, which combined with my chronic illness symptoms have made the past week hell. So not taking it anymore and my doctor and I are talking over safer substitutes. As far as the weight loss…yeah, you lose weight because it’s hard to EAT. And that’s not good for someone like me. (For context, I was fully low carb for 3 years, normalized my A1C/blood sugar, lost about 100 lbs, have kept off most of it, but I have severe histamine issues because of the MCAS and a LOT of low carb foods are off my menu).

  • @jacqulynhilyard1561 says:

You are amazing; making the connections between mood disorders and physical health is taking in the holistic picture. This is not something that anyone else is teaching. I and I am sure many others know this subconsciously, but it needs to be clearly understood; it is like climbing a cliff barehanded straight up with no ropes to get back in control when others have put you through a shredder, despite all your efforts to forgive, be non-judgemental, to be compassionate, to tolerate. Self blame, and incorporating other people`s shallow judgements of our self worth into our estimation of ourselves can be devastating and drive a person into a spiral of grief, anger and self hate that is a slow suicide. Especially if those folks are people you held in high esteem or love with all your heart, but there comes a time where we each need to shake off the terrible pain and choose life; choose to make that seemingly impossible climb upward because each of us are worthy of love, and we need to demonstrate that we are worthy to ourselves by acting in love to our minds, bodies, and souls. So, no self condemnation no matter where you are or how you assess yourself or how others assess your looks, your weight, your cleanliness, your presence, your worth. You are worth so much, you can not know, how valuable you will be to help others survive and thrive. Your experience with isolation and mistreatment will help you help others. So, hold out your hand and know that someone else out there is holding out theirs, and that you can and will make a difference in someone else`s life, no matter how low you think you are, and live for that, choose Life. Love to anyone and everyone who is needing it, right now, I know it is a cold world, but we can choose to use our anger to fight the cold with the warmth of our compassion and that begins with self love.πŸ’

My doctor prescribed ozempic. I picked my prescription up but got scared after seeing ozempic carries the C cell for thyroid cancer. Then I started seeing other bad things happening to people who use this drug. That’s when I ran across your YouTube channel. You have been a blessing. I’m loosing weight slowly and I’m feeling so much better. The ozempic is still in my refrigerator untouched. After my knee surgery I’m going to start exercising. So thank you.

    • @sunshinehaydeeify says:

Do it slow and make small changes like drink water walking 10 min eating veg and fruits and you will see the changes come goid luck

I was prescribed with Saxenda and it helped me a lot to fight off cravings. It also helped in training my stomach to only eat what it needs and stop when it’s full. While on medication, I learned to count my calorie intake and maintain a low-carb food regimen. I only took the medication for 4 months and stopped since I’m confident that I can maintain my current food regimen. Hence I’d say the medication helps but you’ll need to still put in work and effort to lose weight 😊

    • @charlie-louise6446 says:

Im on Saxenda too for weight loss without Saxenda im a binge eater and can eat over 3500 in one sitting ….. Saxenda has put a total stop to that I can only manage around 1500 calories a day now and no binges at all , Im losing weight and learning how to properly eat and to stop when im full its been amazing !!!!!

I agree, my friend died in April 48 years old. Had lot of money but cancer took a toll on his life. As a daughter of both oarents having brain tumors . I had taken what and experience what you soeak in this video. I had some weight issues and I have properly lost 17 pounds. Is important that we make not only a physical change, but an internal change the way we think! We must do it because we are wiorth taking care of us. This is a very truthful thoughts what your saying!

  • @YvonneBrilhart says:

100% right! I always battling with my weight. After menopause, I reached the obese stage. Right now, I changed my lifestyle, so I feel I can do that lifestyle for the rest of my life. At first, I went to the gym 5x a week. After a while, I felt laziness. So, I maintain 4x a week. Lots of water and eat low carb. Sometimes I still crave rice crackers (I’m Asian). Rice is a big thing for me. I grew up with rice 3x a day. But now, I still eat rice. Just not 3x a day or every day. And I count very carefully. Well, it works for me. So, for everyone still struggling to lose weight..keep doing good. Be honest with yourself. Do not give up!

  • @kathiesagert4299 says:

I have lost 104lbs without meds without surgery.. basically WW diabetic w low carb. My A1C went from 8.7 down 5.8! I refused diabetes meds and chose a healthier lifestyle. Love your channel!

I can speak from personal experience that health is wealth. Now that I’m in my mid 50’s, I realize I don’t want to get Cancer or have heart disease. Watching 2 friends go through Cancer is what woke me up. I’m down 30 lbs since summer. There’s nothing wrong with pills or shots or whichever method you use to lose weight you just have to follow the right nutritional guide and make it a way of life.

  • @leslieatencio9467 says:

I used ozempic to take off 45 lbs almost a year ago. It helped me and I changed my eating habits during it so I can keep it off. It changed the game for me and I’m so thankful I used it.
