This is my all time favourite podcast Whittlesea Victoria Australia. .Thank you Dr Max
Fantastic, thank you.
@1:15 “Cancer is a growing problem.” GET IT?!
His ability to say that with a straight face deserves an Oscar.
Thank you, Low Carb Down Under for providing such excellent content.
Awesome👏
Sunscreens are also full of chemicals that enter the body through pores and sweat. Use coconut oil if deliberatly outside or stay out of the sun if UV count is 7-8+ depending skin type
Amazing presentation!
I live in the U.S. up north in Washington State. I noticed a resistance to sunburn after going low carb. I also get that mood reinforcement/ reward (however you described it) from getting a tan. I feel like it gives me higher testosterone or something.
i have known this since i started thinking myself. i get sun, do not wear sunscreen or sunglasses.
Thanks for sharing all this awesome knowledge. The sunglasses affecting the skin response is very interesting and on a N=1 (myself), I’ve found that wearing sunglasses gave me a red skin then not wearing sunglasses which I browned more on my english heritage skin.
At 69 got Melanoma (in situ) after a life time in the sun, my Vit D is 70, now, and havent had any seed oils in a year. So Dr Gulhane has predicted my situation perfectly.
There isn’t an animal on earth which doesn’t like to stretch out and absorb sunshine…..
UVB – they want to shade the earth 🤔
Thanks for giving us great insights. Cheers from Germany
❤
Does Vitamin D supplements work then? I did not catch that?
Very informative. 🎉. Very clear and evidence based.
Brilliant talk, thanks.
Great talk. Thank you!
Utra violet also poses a risk to the eyes. People living in high altitudes like the Himalayas often go blind when they grow old because of UV damage to the retina. At high altitudes the light is less filtered.
