💯 if you don’t like it you won’t stick to it.

  • @DamiMami says:

Why can’t food just be food? Sheesh!

  • @sarahbyington2440 says:

eww, without sauce that’s just sad. sauce makes healthy food edible. doesn’t need to be drowning in pesto to taste sooo much better.

    • @Noone-wi1ul says:

Healthy food is already edible without sauce- hence the word “food.” So no, it doesn’t make it edible. It does make it more palatable for most people.

    • @lavenderoh says:

@@Noone-wi1ul what makes you think sauces can’t be made of food too? Just ignorance or is it delusion?

    • @Noone-wi1ul says:

@@lavenderoh Are you okay? What type of deficit do you have that would lead you to believe that I even implied that sauces are not food? Of course they’re food, by definition.

    • @simonkl838 says:

well, don’t need any “sauce” on eggs or steaks

    • @Diana-qp2rw says:

@@lavenderohHe/She just said that edible is not the same as tasting good, it just means that you can eat the food, which applies to every food. It wasn’t a necessary comment, we all know what you mean, but technically the word you’re looking for is indeed “palatable”

  • @lisilein2 says:

Also, I hope her boyfriend makes dinner as well on a regular basis.

    • @Diana-qp2rw says:

Why? It’s none of our business who of them makes dinner how often, what matters is that it works for them, honey.

  • @jessiematthews6339 says:

I hate videos like this because they perpetuate the idea that to be “fit” and “healthy” (both words that I find problematic in and of themselves), you have to eat the most bland, boring, unappealing diet possible.

    • @DestructionAesthetics says:

Healthy is problematic now? No wonder people are dying under 40.

    • @Diana-qp2rw says:

If you wouldn’t say fit and healthy are problematic words, I would 100 % agree. But just because there are people who have wrong ideas about health and fitness doesn’t mean health and fitness aren’t real things or are in itself problematic words. I’m sorry, hun, but this is getting a bit ridiculous.

    • @roscoedash6673 says:

I hate that y’all perpetuate the idea that food without a whole bunch of sauce and extra stuff is bland, boring, and unappealing. Some of us actual enjoy the flavors of basic foods for what they are and don’t even want the extra stuff on top.

  • @jessicamolina745 says:

Back off of my oils, man! 🤣

  • @girlhh3908 says:

    Where’s the protein? Not filling.

  • @SeoulUnohana says:

Even drinks that are zero calories technically have calories. Products that list things as zero could really mean it was low enough to get away with it. So there isn’t anything empty unless you swallow air to fill up on.

  • @user-uw5ps6nr8g says:

It looks super sad and I’m a major food lover

  • @ViCT0RiA6 says:

Sauces can absolutely serve a purpose of adding some vital nutrients in a tasty way. Especially if you make them from scratch

    • @Nosila685 says:

Exactly, home made marinara is very healthy

    • @ViCT0RiA6 says:

@Nosila685 thank u!  it makes me so sad hearing people think that being healthy = bland food only. Like absolutely not, the complete opposite infact

  • @karynstouffer3562 says:

Videos like that are very problematic. That dish would send my blood glucose sky high. Plus, isn’t it a little nutrient light?

  • @SteepedlnStories says:

I ❤ that you crush bullshit and make food fun!

  • @TheJetJJ says:

Now I really want some fresh pasta with pesto. If I had pine nuts I would make a late night snack!

  • @veggielovinaccountant says:

Okay that’s swamp food! I used to call steamed spinach swamp food when I was a kid. I do like it now, but I prefer it in dishes not just steamed. 🤢

  • @Diana-qp2rw says:

The whole meal would probably be healthier if they added a nutritious sauce 😂 sauces don’t have to consist of heavy cream or tons of oil or store-bought sauces with sugar and artificial flavors, there are so many great ways to make a good, healthy sauce that ideally also adds some protein. I think ricotta and garlic would fit very nicely with noodles and spinach, for example.

  • @user-kd7ch1be6u says:

I would maybe consider alcohol as empty calories. Maybe i just doesnt know about the nutritient value of alcohol. And that still doesnt mean i dont comsume it at all, but i just dont see any nutritional value in it
