The flaxseed bread (linseed bread) is dense, soft, and moist. It’s free or any grains and pseudo-grains. In fact, the only ingredient in this flaxseed bread are ground flaxseeds (linseed). So, it’s a great low-carb alternative to your regular bread.

The flaxseed wraps (flaxseed tortillas) are tender and soft from the flaxseeds, crunchy from the vegetables, and so easy to make. They are great as a savory breakfast, or just as a quick, portable lunch. They are also vegan, paleo, and keto friendly.

This low-carb bread and low-carb wraps will revolutionize your meal prep. That’s something I don’t say lightly. After making my first batch a few years ago, I was hooked.

If you're looking for a low-carb bread/keto bread substitute that is vegan friendly, this recipe might become your new favorite.

toomuchisneverenough, don’t you think you’re being a bit dramatic? I suppose you’re referring to the widespread allegations that rice is loaded with poison… We’ll then, that’s why there isn’t a single soul living in Asia. Oh but… wait…

  • trying to be better says:

I love the husband’s “review”! He explained each dish with such accuracy!! I’m going to make all three!! 👍

  • ana che says:

Gluten free, healthy and super easy! Great, thank you!

  • Stacye Brim says:

Can’t wait to try the recipe for the bread as I’m sensitive to yeast and to millet (which is in most or all types of Ezekiel bread, my former go to!). Thanks for the recipes!

  • Free To Shine Bright says:

Hey Petra, just made all these 3 recipes over the past week or so, and they are all amazing. Taste is great and I appreciated that they are all so easy and fast to make. I blended the flaxseed for the crackers to skip the soaking time. They were wonderful, nonetheless. Thanks so much for sharing!!

  • Valery Le Font says:

I love your recipes, thank you so much for sharing them! Also I really enjoy the last parts of your videos, when your husband gives his opinion, he sounds like a “food critic” and is so good explaining flavours and textures! You make a great team!! 👍💗

  • Paul Johnson says:

Omg!!! I can’t wait to make the bread!! I’ve been gluten free for about four months and bread had been the hardest. I’m going to dream about avocado flax toast tonight!! 🤗🥰🤩🤣

  • Nurturing Her Roots says:

Thank you for keeping it simple! Those are my favorite recipes hands down. That’s exactly what I wanted to create myself. Now I don’t have to. I will be trying these.

  • Camoya Plant-Based says:

Love love love these recipes. Easy, Heathy and Delicious 👌🏿 Thanks for sharing

  • Khwezi M says:

I made the loaf yesterday. The crust is my favourite. The inside is moist. I tried it toasted as well and preferred it toasted. I absolutely love the taste. I wish I could describe it. It’s subtle so your filling really shines through. And the best part is that you cannot smell or taste eggs (it has none) which is such an issue with keto baking.

    • Camila Morales Fénero says:

Yeeees, that is my main issue with keto breads, all recipes I made smell like eggs!!! I’ll try this one for sure

    • s.l says:

Thank you so much for sharing ❤️

    • Anna Schmidt Paranormal Specialist says:

Can I ask please if you followed what she did in the video or what is in the recipe with vinegar, baking powder and baking soda? I followed the written recipe and it was not great, very tough.

    • Khwezi M says:

@Anna Schmidt Paranormal Specialist Yes I followed the written recipe. I have opted to do the one without raising agents since though

  • E. Land says:

Hi Petra. Thanks for sharing the recipe that looks so easy to make. I tried to make the bread with only water and whole ground flaxseed meal  but it didn’t work out. I used the exact  measurements,,but my dough turned more wet  than yours and smaller in size after the flaxseed absorbed all the water. The bread was hollow  and sticky inside.

In the video of the bread I can see some steam coming out of the water you are adding to the flaxseed. flour . Is it hot water?  It is  confusing since you previously said that cold water is used for bread and crackers and hot water for tortillas.

I’d like to know why it didn’t work out to try it again because it looks delicious.

    I’d appreciate your comments

    Thanks

  • Beatrice Ladouce says:

So, I don’t need expensive ingredients to make keto bread? Thank you!!! This will be a life changer for sure! I’m starting tomorrow ❤️❤️❤️
Edit: maybe not completely keto but definitely low carb. Will try for sure!

  • Rabie Alsukhon says:

Splendid recipe 😍, mine it’s in the oven now and I am excited 😃 , I skipped the apple vinegar this time because it’s my first attempt and I wanted to work at ease and avoid the chemical reaction 😉, and so far it looks perfect 👍🏼 🤩 thanks a lot for the very well detailed recipe 🙏🏻

  • Janet Caterina says:

Wow, I can’t believe you made a loaf of bread out of only flax seeds! This I’m definitely willing to try!

  • Truthbetold says:

Don’t know how many times I’ve come back to watch this video. Simply love your process and videography. Your husband’s reviews are invaluable and fun to listen to. But even without his comments I trust all your recipes have been tested well and I have no reservation following them. Thank you Petra.

  • ColonelAuctioneer says:

due to life’s circumstances I have found myself on a profoundly restrictive diet. flaxseed has been a literal lifesaver for me and i was so happy this video popped up on my feed today. i had previously tried searching for recipes using only flaxseed, and was unsuccessful. this video really saved the day for me. thank you so much. i subscribed and added your blog to my favorites bar.
