I’ve lost 39 pounds since September ’20 with Intermittent Fasting and being Vegan, and that with cheating from time to time. It is an amazing methodology to bring your body to health and beauty. I truly appreciate your channel Autumn. I can get the facts I need to continue my journey in a “work smart not hard” way. I have 61 more pounds to go! 🙂
That’s amazing, Ondrea!! You’ve got this!!!❤️
I have a few videos on how to eat more plant-based that you can check out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-diJUqrk3I
Martin Sabol. Just start out with fruits and veggies, its real simple. Then you can grow on from there are you learn more. Take 1 step at a time. 🙂
@Autumn Bates Thanks so much! It’s been a looooooooooong journey! Lol.
I’m so proud of you!!!
I’m really loving these shorter to the point videos! Thank you!
I’m happy to hear that! I’m always working on making my videos better for you guys, so I’m glad you like the switch up!
i agree …i visit here alot …straight to the point
I almost never click on videos longer than 10 minutes… too much “fluff”.
Under 5 min ✅
Tell me about it!
Autumn- I have been following your program for over a year. I’m at a weight that works well for me AND I enjoy more energy in my daily routine and workouts. I’m so grateful for your information. 😊
Nice work!
I love and appreciate your videos. Always straight to the point and enjoyable! I have a request for a video on IF for women in menopause or post-menopause. I had some initial success with IF, but seem to now be moving in reverse 🙁 I know it’s a complicated issue, but I’m interested to hear your thoughts.
Great Video! Been doing Keto since July 2020 and when I began my weight was around 221 lbs and now I’m around 180 lbs. Doing Intermittent fasting and eating twice within an 6-8 hour window. It took a couple months for my body to get adjusted, but now I’m rolling. My target is around 175-178 lbs and I now know that I will attain that goal fairly easy. KETO Works and remember it’s not a Diet, it’s a Life Style Change!
I love your videos…no long explanations and you get straight to the point and thank you for using “lingo” that we all understand and not all medical terms…Ive tried all the IF techniques and the 1 that works best for me is 24 hours with an hour feeding window…I eat the same food every day so it’s just easier to track…I do a 4 egg omelette with grilled chicken breast and steamed veg and 1x slice rye bread so consuming that amount of protein actually keeps me sasuated and I can actually do a 48 hour IF I also weigh out my food and do my weekly mealprep on a Sundag…quick question I suffer from IBS so I actually cannot consume any seeds or grains what can you suggest as a good fibre source besides physulim husk?
I started OMAD and 1 on 2 off (48 hour fast) and I’ve lost 10 lbs in 5 days.
I’m not 20lbs away from my pre baby weight and I’m so excited! 😃
My clothes fit better and I have sooooo much more energy.
Whenever I get a craving, I simply take ACV, a teaspoon of lemon and a drop of stevia.
Yes… I know this is technically “dirty fasting” but I’m seeing results and that’s all that counts.
Doing 18:6 for 6 weeks, start at 230 and down to 212. Lost 2lbs on average per week, give or take. My BP is so stable now and insulin resistance is lessening.
Just found your channel and love it! Tried IF (16/8) for the first time for the whole month of July. No cheat days. My goal was 8lbs. I ended up losing 18.3lbs. It was really hard for me but I felt so much better and loved the results. I will use this periodically to maintain.
How much time it take?
@Shubham Shukla He said the whole month of July.
How is it going now?
I have combined a ketogenic diet with my intermittent fasting. During the week I fast about 18 hours. During the weekend I fast for abut 20-24 hours. In three months I’ve lost nearly 80 pounds.
How often do you fast?
@Jason Mcquown I fast every day. During the week I have my evening meat about 6pm, then I don’t eat again until noon the next day. On weekends I eat my evening meal at about 6pm, and don’t eat again until about 6 the next day.
@Mister B during the week do roughly a 12 + hr fast. Eat once at work. And on the weekends i was considering a 24 hr fast. You weight loss impressed the heck out of me!
@Mister B also pretty strict keto
@Jason Mcquown It’s not bad for me on the weekend because I’m so busy running around I don’t really think too much about eating. If I can do it, anyone can. I’m just hoping to continue and keep it off.
Just like every other diet you will see results in 4 weeks your friends will see results 8 weeks in and the world will see your results in 12 weeks
Genius
I lost 15.5 kilos, over 30 lbs in just 7 easy weeks. 16/8, low carb, 2 meals 2×20 minute fast walks and 30 minutes of light yoga each day. Never was I hungry and it was exciting to get on the scales each morning! I actually eased up because I didn’t want to lose any more weight.
6 months later and my weight has stayed where I was without any gaining.
To add to this, I was suffering edema in my legs. (Build up of fluids) – had it since my mid teens funny enough. It’s also a precursor to type 2 diabetes.
Got myself checked out – fairly healthy which I found surprising.
Anyway, my point – three days into intermittent fasting, I simply stopped having edema.
Two weeks in – I have lost size but not weight, loads of swelling has gone, bloated stomach – lack of puffy face.
Since then, I have been keeping an eye on my diet as in what goes in and how much. Nothings being limited yet – again, another point. I’ve been injured since Dec and unable to exercise beyond a walk. With this and watching what I eat, it’s so simple to lose weight or even maintain.
Well done you on your weight loss.
Great job!
Hi Jamie, can you please share the type of meals you’re having during this journey
@Ihunna Obi I am writing it all down for publication, it seemed so easy and obvious. But will it work for others I have yet to demonstrate. 🙂
@Jamie W how much did u weigh at first?
Thank you, your videos have been very helpful. I started 16/8 a week ago and I’m already down 12 lb.
I watched this video almost a month ago. i weighed 206lb at 5’7 and started the IF with some running. My job consists of walking for 8 hours. Cooked my own meals, only drunk water. I’ve never felt so much better in my life, i have more energy. about to reach my 1 month milestone in 5 days. I’m now at 189lb. I will be back in a month to tell my results again!
🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
Let us know how it’s going.
Jordan, as a bloke I find Intermittent fasting so simple.
Simply don’t eat for 14-18 hours and only drink water and black coffee. No counting calories or points. Just eat two home prepared meals everyday.
Commenting to say grats and to see the update 😉
@Philip yesterday was the 2nd month of doing i/f. I’ve had a couple ‘stress meals” and some inconvenient snacks lol. But i recently joined the gym, doing a lot of weight training, i kept the running daily going. i’m down to 174lbs now, i’ve never felt this great before, my face is a lot more slim but not as toned as i want it, same goes for my body, so much slimmer but not at my goal yet. Only advice i have is just to keep going and make it a lifestyle. It has also toughened me mentally.
I lost 90 lbs within 4 months. But, a year later, my skin finally snapped back. This summer is gonna be AWESOME!
How did you lose ? Skin was loose before the year? Great job!
How did you lose the 90 lbs in 4 months? Super interested in how you did it!
That’s awesome. Consistent weight lifting lighter weight with lots of reps can help with toning skin back into place. Also yoga with isometric holding poses to tone with bodyweight. Something about the tons of repetitions over bulking that helps with that toning but then also heavier weights can be good for any areas that people want to inflate or fill in – often glutes/butt – so like squats and body-weight type leg lifts can fill things out where it’s desired. Also heavier weight lighting + lower body fat percentage is good for clearing cellulite too.
If in doubt though, all light with lots of reps is perfect especially with building conditioning. Getting so injured that nothing can be lifted for days is not a healthy regimine lol
I lost before and gained it all back plus I want to stick with it😢
Why are you lying? 🤢
January 2021 I weighed about 240lbs at 5’3″, I weighed myself this morning (3/10/2022) 167lbs . I found my weight loss was almost immediate but would gain back about half on my regular days. Over the past year I have almost completely stopped eating bad foods (everything from bad fats to bad carbs). Most of my protein comes from eggs except for 1 meal per week of beef, chicken, or pork. My ultimate goal is 150lbs which I can see before summer hits.
I just started intermittent fasting along with a low carb natural food diet and I’ve lost 36lbs and lowered my 30 day average blood glucose from 160 to 113 in just 7 weeks. I still have a long way to go, another 83lbs, but I am more confident than ever that I will be in the best health of my lifetime when I turn 60 in November! Life is good, and it’s getting better!
So far I’ve lost 60 pounds, from 260, to 200 and blood pressure from an average of 150, to now 120. Been loosing an average of 1-2 pounds per week. I’ve cut back on processed food and sugars. You can really feel the difference😊
hey there Autumn I’m in day 5 of my 20-4 IF and i had concerns that’s why i came across your video thank you for doing this
I’ve been doing intermittent fasting for about a week but was doing 12/12. Today is day one of 14/10. I do walk. I’m going to try this for 30 days and see how it goes ❤
