This is true. I dropped to single digit body fat & maintained all my lifts. I did this by prioritizing meat or fish with every meal, along with 50 gram protein shakes.
You might want to change the title and the picture, it is a bit misleading. Great info though!
Is not true.. if you do strengh training you can maintain your muscles and a fit body with intermitted fasting as long as you eat healthy and nutritious food during your eating window. I am practicing this for years and I gained muscle due to regular exercise
Latest evidence shows no real benefit to intermittent fasting vs caloric restriction. So to maximize muscle synthesis, probably better to eat protein at regular intervals and watch the calories. This is something Layne Norton, Gil “Nutrition Made Simple”, and others seem to be suggesting.
Happened to me but I probably didn’t do it correctly.
