Great workout!! I also have Osteoporosis and the new workouts will help. I take a daily pill for the Cancer I had which affects my bones, I want to try and reverse without more meds.
I’m so happy you’re here working out with me! You have such a positive attitude about wanting to try different approaches 💪 We’re in this together! 🤗🌸
I was diagnosed with osteoporosis at age 63 which was a huge shock to me, as I have always worked out with weights, walking , being physical, and eating healthy… I just recently had foot surgery which I’m still healing with ( 8 months post op and apparently my X-rays showed diffused osteopenia in my foot .. ( but definitely have osteoporosis due to bone density scan . I have never broken a bone in my life so scary that in a few years I might be prone to fractures if I don’t do anything .. but exercise, weights are very important … looking forward to your new workouts
Thank you for sharing your story Susan! I can understand how shocking that news must have been 💕 You’re absolutely right about exercise and weights being so important. I’m excited to have you join me on this journey and I hope the new workouts will be helpful for you! 🌸💪
I have also recently been diagnosed & am too suprised. Waiting to hear about your research & ideas. A big fan of all you work.
Thank you for your kind words and I look forward to sharing what I discover on this journey 🙌 Stay strong and fabulous! 💪❤️
Me too!!
Crazy I was just diagnosed with it as well in November, I broke my T10 in my thoracic spine have the surgery and back at working out looking forward to reverse it with you . I enjoy spending my mornings with you. Thank you for all you’ve done for us.
Dear Schellea I meant to comment about this on the long form of video. I am so surprised that you have osteoporosis given that you do so much weight bearing exercise and you eat healthy food. It makes one feel cheated in a way. At least you are on the right track for the future. Even though we live in Australia we have to avoid the sun, so I take Vitamin D3 + K2 spray every day.
Thank you for your comment! I understand that feeling – sometimes health challenges can catch us off guard 🙌 That’s exactly why I’m sharing my journey, so we can all learn together. Thanks for being part of our community Lucie! 🤗❤️
Love your workout 💪 👌 🙌 😍
You will be ok, you’re very active and determined.
Thank you so much for your encouragement! Sending you a big hug Cavel! 🤗❤️

Thank you so much for your beautiful comment Elina! I’m so happy the workouts are helping you 🌸 You are a star! 💪🤗
I was diagnosed with Graves Disease in February, and because of that I significant bone density loss ( I have ben diagnosed with osteopenia). I’ve massively increased by calcium intake. So many of us, I discovered, think we are taking in more calcium than we actually are. I’ve also shifted to a 3 point exercise regime- Weight bearing, Resistance and Balance. What I had been doing – but much more targeted to my needs to increase bone density ( it is possible to move from osteopenia back to normal density and Im trying as hard as I can to make that a reality)
Yes, indeed, it is a shock when you consider yourself fit and healthy. However, I’ve taken it as a lucky wake-up call to be more aware, more diligent, and more focused on me, instead of always putting myself last.
Best wishes to you all in your journeys.
Thank you for sharing your journey with us! What a positive way to look at this challenge – turning it into a wake-up call to focus on yourself 🙌 Your attitude is truly inspiring and I’m so glad you’re here as part of our community. Best wishes to you too! 💪❤️
Thank you for saying all that. I have osteopenia as well. I needed to read that “putting ourselves last”..I think as women we have a tendency to do that..being wives, mothers, caregivers..etc it’s good to help others but we have to put aside time for ourselves too or we won’t be around or capable to help others ❤ I’m listening from Alabama USA
Just like my boys 😅. Love and prayers 🙏🏻 🙌🕊🕊🕊
Sending you a MASSIVE HUG Schellea 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷
I am 63 and was diagnosed with osteoporosis since I was 48. It is not a death warrant! We are strong women, and can continue our health journeys well. I have always worked out, eaten well and taken care of myself.
Shellea I’ve been following your videos since the pandemic and a lot of us women have osteoporosis . It’s hard to believe when you eat properly take calcium and work out like maniacs ! My endocrinologist did a 24hr urine test to see if I absorbed calcium properly and we discovered that I don’t , so I take a small dose of a water pill , try to get calcium through food (dr. Told me calcium citrate can cause kidney stones I have a small one😣 ) I did the Reclast fusion since my last bone scan read that my left hip was a little worse and the ramifications of what could happen if breaking a bone far out-way the once yearly dose of medication . Looking forward to your future videos as I’m sure they will be geared for us Osteo ladies ! Thank you for your awareness and your fabulous workouts 🦋
You are such an inspiration don’t throw in the towel you got this.😊
Awesome! I just found out, too. I think we should get bone scans sooner. I thought I was doing everything right. Super healthy eater, exercise regularly for decades, take supplements. Shocker! Also doing research. Excited about these exercises.
Gosh I’m shocked you have it.. my mum has it and I’ve wondered if I might have it..they do not want me to have any tests though…They say no you havent got it.. well I’m 56 so I could have.. Will be following your videos..
Wishing you all the best and thanks for sharing something so personal.
What a lovely family!
