I’m starting ketovore this week but aim for carnivore . I love hearing success stories . πŸ’—

  • @josephbwalker says:

Been Keto for over 2 years and down over 110lbs. Went on Carnivore about 3 months ago and I feel AMAZING. Lost more but The mental clarity has increased and skin has been clearer. Carnivore is Amazing.

  • @dinaarmymom9145 says:

Exercise is not just for weight loss. Muscle building is very important especially as we get older. As you age exercise is good for your joints and helps them stay pliable and flexible. I wish people would stop saying you can reach your goal without exercise, of course you can. Are you physically healthy? You can loose weight and be too weak to pick up a 2lb dumbbell.

    • @beth8678 says:

Agree!!!! make sure your weight loss doesn’t include losing muscle mass since you haven’t been working out.

    • @natalieroy4849 says:

Exactly, and losing weight doesn’t mean you are only losing fat, muscle loss also occurs, which is detrimental.

    • @pambrown5401 says:

Well said……I am 66…….exercise is needed!

    • @dangerzzzone2925 says:

Omg yes I tried losing weight without exercise this time around but I look so flabby and just a smaller version of my fat self. Lol exercise helps you look so good

    • @dinaarmymom9145 says:

@@dangerzzzone2925 yes, it tones your body and I feel very fit and strong.

  • @samijanekasper8162 says:

I lost on low carb and maintaining on a mostly carnivore. I found my niche and it’s amazing. It takes a little time to figure what works for you…but that sweet spot is spectacular πŸŽ‰

  • @guybowers9094 says:

My oldest some has been doing the carnivore and has lost over 50 pounds. He had said his overall feeling is much better and not just from the weight loss

  • @missaih says:

Started ketovore (animal fats/proteins and fruit) last year and kinda went off for the holidays but I’m back on it again, love this way of eating, low inflammation, mental clarity, no acid reflux/bloating and feeling great.

  • @mrbigg7255 says:

β€œFood can be more important than exercise”
    This is so true.
Lost over a hundred pounds on Keto in 9 months. No more diabetes.
Then I started hitting the gym. 15 minutes on the treadmill walking and about 20 minutes of weightlifting.
    Weekends off.
    Been almost four years now.

  • @jeannethacker2159 says:

Sorry couldn’t finish this,,, loud music in background is soooooo annoying

    • @lindaford8456 says:

I agree Ithe audio went high her voice went low she needs to not have music making these videos

    • @wandamckinney381 says:

@@lindaford8456 I was hoping I wasn’t the only one that thought the background music was too loud.
I do love your videos Mayra, can you please lower the background music or opt it all together till the audio part is over please?

    • @alesia5616 says:

Hun when you’re in tune with an interest of health and reviews, you block it out. Stay positive and focus on mental and physical nutrition to begin a new year with a new you!

    • @margeebechyne8642 says:

@@alesia5616 Hun, no, that’s not the way it works.

    • @AnitaSolution says:

It’s really hard to get all this stuff balanced. Give her a break 😊

  • @tcummins1395 says:

I’m about 70 pounds down now. 50 pounds to go. I lost about 10 pounds during the holidays. I would’ve done better without the holiday temptation. Over all, I think I did well.

  • @MICHELEPASSERELLA says:

Breakfast recipe idea: melt butter, grate a little zucchini, crack two eggs in, salt, two tablespoons of ricotta. Stir fry it up. Bacon side. This has been my go-to this winter! So yum.

  • @LuluWilliams-xn5kr says:

I love carnivor!! Going on 2 years, it’s my lifestyle ❀

  • @pearlhall3787 says:

I’m sorry to point this out, but your background music is so loud, it’s hard to hear you. It’s totally unnecessary. Your voice is pleasant to listen to without the irritating background music. Please don’t do that in your videos. Thanks. Always love your content.

    • @HaggisVitae says:

Was just going to comment this. If her voice was louder and the music more in the background it would work fine.

    • @letyfoster2421 says:

      Agree

    • @marya.pierce5236 says:

I agree about the background music. I don’t know why this is such a trend to put music even in the background of teaching. it is not necessary. Is there a mindset that we have to be entertained or we will lose interest?! Come on now let’s get away from this soft living! We don’t have to be entertained like little children. If I click on a video that can teach me something I do not want the distraction of background music, please. Good information but the music is a detriment. And I’m a lover of music. ❀

    • @ZoeGirl_hey84 says:

I turned on the captions and lowered the volume. That electronic percussion was too weird. 😡

    • @kays515 says:

I like her content as well but the music is distracting. I’ve stopped watching so many videos due to this issue. It would be nice if the music was faint or better yet no music at all.

  • @sheilahucke4204 says:

What’s with the music in the background. Don’t like it. Also it’s too loud.

  • @michellealvarez8160 says:

Carnivore diet is not a diet. It’s a lifestyle

  • @tinarogers197 says:

OMG, I’m so happy to hear that you were talking about carnivore I have been doing carnivore for a year and a half and absolutely love it

  • @warrior7787 says:

Girl the information is free on line . I’m carnivore and love it. Yes I do carnivore my own way!

  • @billnott5811 says:

Been strict carnivore for a year and a half and I’m down almost 300 pounds. it really works…

  • @gotchaz45 says:

Mayra, I am 80 years old this month (Jan 2025). I have been doing Carnivore to help maintain good health for the last two months. I have only lost 4 or 5 pounds but definitely feel the difference in how my clothes fit. I have read that when you are healing your body, you may not see much weight loss at all for awhile. When you are building muscle while burning fat as one does on Carnivore, you will not see much, if any, weight loss. I’m holding to this plan to rebuild muscle (particularly important for women as they age) and repair age-related issues. Also, hopefully, to heal thyroid issues of over 40 years. Much like you, I do a bit of “dirty carnivore”. I’ve watched you off and on for years, am subscribed, and love your style. I’ll be watching how things go with this new approach for both of us. It’s great to have someone share their approach when it mirrors one’s own!!

    • @brendaedwards7938 says:

I just turned 70. Can you enlighten me on what you are eating on the carnivore diet? Thank you! β™₯

  • @Sportdiva7 says:

Kind of random question, but wouldn’t you feel more constipated with low fiber? Lower fiber can lead to diverticulitis etc.
