In my last video, I shared a study in which participants got results spot-reducing abdominal fat through intense exercise. But what do you do if intense exercise is not a realistic option for you or your stubborn fat area is elsewhere on your body? There is a procedure called liposuction that effectively spot-reduces fat.
I had the opportunity to sit down with a surgeon who specializes in liposuction and ask him about what goes into preparing for it, the procedure itself, the recovery process, and the cost. Here’s what I learned.

You rock Becky!🎉🎉🎉
Just so sad they were ultra focused on body image rather than body health.
I have Type 1 Diabetes but can no longer use my stomach , thighs, arms and butt for my injection but I had read in one of my Diabetes magazines that you could have that scar tissue removed and be able to use these spots again but the plastic surgeon gave me a hard time but he didn’t say that he couldn’t PERFORM the surgery he referred me to Philly, PA to me the first appointment The second visit is when he finally made this statement. He works w/Brian Reedy in Wyomissing ,pa. My DIABETES Dr made me do the calling to ten different PLastic Surgeon’s but I’m not a doctor what do I know. I use the line behind my knee (where my knee bends)to take my injection. Afrezza is Garbage. It affected my voice. Be careful which plastic surgeon you use.
Quite interesting!
Thanks Dr. Becky, this video is very informative and instructive. Have you heard about Coolsculpting for the same contour purposes? I believe it is less risky and equally effective. It would be great if you could teach us about this as well. 🎉
