  • @ilyanna67 says:

Hi Autumn. Can Kefir be used in place of other milks in smoothies? Will it make a difference in taste?

    • @ilyanna67 says:

Oops. I should have waited until the end of the video. You answered the first part of my question.

Started making Kifer over a year ago. Love it plain or with protein powder. Yum

  • @pamelagoode7499 says:

I’ve been making it and it has really helped my stomach. I have Irrited bowel syndrome.

  • @alimajidian1974 says:

Do you know what is “Kashk” ? It is produced with other bacteria, it is the best source of whey protein even better that cheese-water .

  • @richardbicycle5262 says:

I have such a problem finding one that isn’t fortified with vit A/D, which apparently include polysorbates that don’t have to be disclosed, so I’m on a mission now. It’s like we’re drinking this for the gut benefits and the additives no one asked for are destroying the gut barrier simultaneously, insane.

  • @guylainelamoureux says:

Wow! Sounds like a super food! I started drinking it after you suggested it and I like it, especially the benefits. Thank you Autumn. 👍❤️

  • @lisapolanski9379 says:

Thanks for reminding me about kefir. I forgot all about it. I used to drink it all the time 20 years ago. I had no idea about these benefits. I’ll start drinking it again. I used to drink an unpasteurized one but they stopped selling it.

You should make your own……lots cheaper and has more goodies in it. I bought my Kefir grains off Amazon, and they work great. Even came with a little cheescloth bag that the grains live in, which alleviates the need to fish your grains out of the finished kefir everytime. I let it ferment an extra 24 hours in the fridge and it turns nice and thick. I do this in half gallon Ball canning jars. Both my wife and I do at least a cup a day. I actually combine mine with maybe 12 oz of my homemade beet kvass, which is also fermented. Throw in a big spoonful of organic cacao powder and I’m all set! I make my kefir with grassfed A2 whole milk.

  • @JesLeneeAS says:

Thank you for the info! I love kefir! I put it in a bowl along with coconut flakes, pecans, and a few chocolate chips. It’s my daily dessert. Yummmm.

  • @rochelles.8387 says:

I’ve been making and drinking Keifer for over a year. I love it but haven’t noticed any difference in my body. I also ferment foods. What has helped is Dr. Davis’ SIBO yogurt. I will continue to make and enjoy Keifer though.

  • @debiwaleski1797 says:

Does water kefir have the same benefits as kefir made from milk?

  • @travismyers3903 says:

If you make your own, you will get twice the amount of good bacteria. And cheaper in the long run. I’ve been making my own for several months now and it’s so fun to do.

  • @More_Than_Conquerors says:

When I had the flu in February, had zero appetite but was able to drink kefir for protein and probiotics. I quickly realized I should have kefir more often. I love Autumn’s shake idea with it. 🥛 😋

  • @juliannadickinson1853 says:

  • @GrimmJaw496 says:
