Could you please turn up your microphone? In your last few videos, I could barely hear you.

  • @CoriMcEwen says:

Oh my! These are way out of my carb range! I use Konjac pasta products. I am on 20 carbs a day eating plan. I too have lost over 200 lbs…. 168 lbs. I am diabetic with gut issues… so high carbs are not even possible for me. I love Konjac rice and pasta!

  • @ronm6585 says:

Thanks Mayra. I would like to see some recipes with lentils or pinto beans.

You voice volume is very low and when I turn up my volume the music is too loud and over powers you. Thanks for the great information

  • @candaceamick7012 says:

I love this video. It’s so real.

  • @cbagot says:

The lentil recipe sounds great. Yes, do a video on that.❀

  • @MonsoonRain786 says:

I use Trader Joe’s frozen microwave Jasmine rice. I also buy their Sourdough bread, keep it in the freezer and then toast it. When you refrigerate or freeze carbs they turn into resistant starch, become gut friendly and don’t raise your blood sugar so much. I bulk up the rice with veggies and the fibre helps control the insulin spike as well.

I do the same with my Aldi 3 ingredient bread. Make hubby his own bread from fresh Milled flour, I mill. I don’t eat much bread, but ty for tip on freezing it helps that B’s not spike as bad! I’ve heard that with certain foods, but not bread. Thx

  • @lynnmoore5948 says:

You need to fix your volume! No one can heat you.😒

  • @LINDACATTREN says:

According to google the difference between white and red sweet potatoes is, orange sweet potatoes have more moisture and very sweet. White sweet potatoes are dryer and have a nutty flavor.

  • @ncv1501 says:

A Lentil recipe would be great.

  • @woozie_tv says:

That Lentil recipe sounds fire. We need a video on that for sure

  • @TheCallyjean says:

This was a realistic list – thank you for sharing

Try heating up a few blueberries in the microwave and eat them with your cottage cheese – Yummy

  • @windart5671 says:

Myra, is your mike turned way down, it’s really hard to hear you ??

  • @sharonsediles8112 says:

Hi Mayra! Please lower your music so that we can hear you clearer. Your voice seemed to be lower inside the store and then music got too loud. By the way! Thank you so much for this helpful video! Lots of love to you!

  • @charitylboisseau7526 says:

I love brown rice and beans! I cook it with onion and garlic, and top with a little cheese.

  • @charitylboisseau7526 says:

I’m so glad to see you include fruits and vegetables, although you are low-carb! So many people who are on a low-carb diet/way of life, tell me they avoid fruits and vegetables because of the carbs! I tell them if I’m making healthier choices and avoiding junk, I’m gonna have an apple!

  • @sadletrampsscooby says:

I can hear you fine love your accent especially when you go all Mexican and your delicious recipes. Are awesome

  • @fransak2723 says:

When you have reached your goal (or even before) it’s ok to have an occasional treat but as she said try to keep it healthy. Skip the junk. White sweet potatoes are fantastic. To me they are slightly less sweet, not sure if there is a difference in the carbs. My only issue with the occasional treat is it often sends me down a long binge. I do enjoy Nick’s ice cream.
