Hey! Great video! Siim, need your opinion: let’s say I’m apply tretinoin cream at night, do some red light therapy on my face in the morning. The question is – is there sense to add collagen peptide supplement to this routine or it would be excessive and just waste of money? Thanks

    • @calisteo99winner54 says:

I think it would be beneficial for you. Tretinoin is known to prevent skin aging and sunspots and red light therapy is also good. Taking collagen peptides works a different way by stimulating the production inside your body and give your body extra collagen. But if you don’t want to send a lot on it, what you are actually doing is fine!
      Hope that helps

    • @user-rq5ww8oh5k says:

@@calisteo99winner54 thanks man. And what aspects collagen peptide might have effect on? Different sort of tendonitis and golfers elbow?

    • @MarieLamour-cv1jc says:

      Collagen is equally important!

    • @calisteo99winner54 says:

@@user-rq5ww8oh5kdepends on what you aim to prevent or solve, as the dose also depends on it.

Hmm, wasn’t it the case that insufficient magnesium is hard to detect in the blood?

  • @Scottlp2 says:

I wonder if you feel RBC magnesium a valid test.

  • @Madchris8828 says:

Isn’t it also that magnesium has been depleted heavily in our food overtime, thus people needing to supplement heavily?

    • @brandonyoung4910 says:

      Allegedly

    • @MarmaladeINFP says:

What is the difference of magnesium content from foods produced on depleted soil versus foods produced on healthy soil? My diet consists almost entirely of animal foods that are pasture-raised and organic.

    • @Madchris8828 says:

@@MarmaladeINFP I wish I could tell you other than to say that likely food produced on healthy soil requires less external supplementation. not really completely sure there

  • @darrendrake6394 says:

Are you still taking inositol supplements ?

  • @LarryDiamond-te3yt says:

    Looking good Siim. I’m back.

One question. Would you suggest a magnesium that doesn’t give the amount of elemental magnesium?

Can they count the weight of the glycine molecules?

  • @frogseer3407 says:

Hey Siim, several weeks ago you mentioned that you are working on an update of your supplement list. How is it going?

  • @jono8635 says:

Just goes to show, we all come from Earth.

  • @Soapgirl64 says:

The problem with your high magnesium food list is most of them contain high phytates or high oxalates which block magnesium absorption. I would submit it’s a major reason for the deficiencies. A couple on your list… almonds and spinach are off the oxalate charts.

I take 6 grams Heaping teaspoon) of magnesium citrate powder/day in kefir.

  • @bigguy130 says:

I was having chest pains and was worried something was going on with my heart(I was taking CoQ10 and magnesium oxide every day, I know, it’s poorly absorbed, and was also taking CoQ10 and on the recommendation of a natural health advocate, I tried taking Magnesium L-Threonate every day and the chest pains started lessening each day until they all but disappeared. The brand I used was Life Extension.

  • @theredqueen2283 says:

You need potassium to absorb it properly right ?
