I’ve been taking Bioastin astaxanthin since May of last year and lycopene since November and I got some bloodwork done at the end of January and my Lp(a) dropped from 380 nmol/l to 293 nmol/l 😳 also my CrP was under 1 for the first time EVER, it was 0.7. ALSO, I had been checking Nt Pro bNp and the highest reading I had gotten was 189, which was high, showing heart failure but my new results just came back at 55! Way below normal 😀. I don’t know if it’s the astaxanthin but it’s the only thing I changed. I follow a plant based diet and eat food 4-5 times a week.

  • @NikolaFoster-jo6ys says:

Worth mentioning that phosphatidylcholine (the type found in eggs) doesn’t raise TMAO in studies, as opposed to bitartrate and alpha-GPC. You can get it as a supplement. I take a small dose daily since I don’t eat eggs.
