I love how you have to gain muscle and lose weight I their opinion. Cuz that’s how bodies work. They totally lose weight when they gain muscle.

  • @simona_ab says:

I love the gesture when you said “I love this part”! My brain❤❤❤

  • @sageauthor31 says:

Yes, lose weight but also gain muscle mass, may the odds be ever in your favour 😒

  • @hannahchitty351 says:

Good god sometimes I forget how much people can suck. So glad you have such a healthy self image

  • @tehbear4763 says:

Idk what that dude was thinking and also idk if it’s a good way of thinking about having a “goal body” but you are so best ❤️❤️

  • @EmpathyForTheWin says:

Imagine how miserable that commenter must be to spend the time to type that angry projection. Just wowww..

  • @daemon2426 says:

I’m short, 5’3″, but with a relatively wide frame. Wide hips, larger chest, wider shoulders. If I weighed the 100-120 lbs these people expect, I’d look like I was on chemo. A goal body to me, is a healthy one for myself.

    • @baumeister5705 says:

Same my dad is 6’4” and I am short, I have a wider frame bone structurally, if I weigh less than 130 pounds I look like a skeleton. I don’t understand the need to be as skinny as I can make myself, I’m just listening to my body. 😊

    • @FroggyFreg says:

People think that calling me Fat is an insult even my mom I am a little fat and I do not care bcuz my body is healthy

    • @subratanandy2142 says:

I’m even shorter with the body type you described. I once achieved the ‘ goal body’ unintentionally by getting typhoid, I was sick and completely wasted and people told me that I have the ‘ right figure ‘ … I was this close to dying tho 🙁

    • @Diana-qp2rw says:

Yeah, I have that person’s “goal body” and I lost my period. It’s not healthy and therefore shouldn’t be a goal. A healthy body (which includes a HEALTHY body weight, not being very skinny) should be our goal.

  • @samcook_food says:

I don’t always share your opinions, but at least I have the decency to judge those instead of disregarding them because you don’t conform to my ideal beauty standards.

  • @fluffyspunsugar says:

It astounds me how our society pretty much labels anyone who doesn’t appear emaciated as fat.

  • @2twentysix says:

So true! This is one of the most sanest and realistic pieces of advice you’ve ever given. Why take advice from the unqualified, size nothing human being instead of the qualified and healthy weight one? Let’s use our brains people 🤓

    • @karynstouffer3562 says:

Oh, but using the brain is such harrrrd wooooorrrrk!

People these days don’t know how to think for themselves. They can only follow the instructions that are given to them by their idols. 🤷

  • @draveracil says:

🙌🏻 Thank you for healthy normal and professional take! 🎉❤

  • @nellsmith7064 says:

Sad that person thinks you only have value if you fit an ideal, they themselves probably don’t and they ask us to follow their way of thinking.

  • @katezajac6730 says:

I have a goal body ,my goal is to keep my body alive

  • @whatsherfacegal says:

“my body isn’t my business card” 👏👏👏 you have such a healthy way of mentally dealing with body-shaming & trolls!

  • @Creativedork32 says:

Her body is no one else’s business. If you’re going to criticize, criticize content, not a personal attack.
Words like that used to make me relapse in my ED. Words are powerful. Don’t waste it on that.

  • @annieschmitz1691 says:

I know im overweight because my asthma has been telling me. When i was a “healthy” weight, my hair was falling out, i had no periods, i was exhausted, and my skin would crack and bleed. There was a middle point where i was happy and healthy for a few years, about 165 to 190 lbs as a 5’9 female. I know thats technically a bit high, but it was what worked for me. Im working to get to it now, not for how i looked, but for how i felt

  • @FrancesWeyr says:

It doesn’t seem like a “goal body” is something a person could achieve without letting it take over their life. That much obsession can’t be good for your mental health. It’s sad that some people would rather go on the offensive than admit their opinion is not universal or that they might actually be (gasp) wrong. You can almost feel sorry for them

  • @Cami-fq9dc says:

Thank you, I needed that. I have chronic health problems and I’m on a lot of medications. I feel terrible about myself anytime I shower. This showed up just after my shower. Thank you.

  • @SeanORaigh says:

As someone who’s lost a reasonable amount of weight (about 10-15kg) over the span of the last 5-6 months, I’m so glad for honest people like you sharing genuine health and nutrition information and not just the insipid fads and outright lies of wellness influencers.

  • @hula62 says:

Thank you, Abbey. You are on fire! ❤
