I’ve been thinking about trying Zbiotics out. I wonder if it not only reduces hangovers but if it also mitigates the motabolizim hit that comes with consuming alcohol.
And how exactly is that enzyme getting into your bloodstream to break down acetyaldehyde exactly? Pretty sure that’s not how metabolism nor digestion works.
It’s nonsense.
@foolishlyfoolhardy6004 there are many factors that impact metabolism. More specifically, if you have goals around nutrition and healthy weight loss. Even lower calorie alcoholic beverages have had an impact on how effective my body is at processing what I ate and drank the nights that I drink a bit. I am interested in how the Zbiotics help with the overall bodily function that impacts my metabolism. Good pre and probiotics have had a positive impact for my bodies functioning and directly or indirectly my metabolism. I’m not a dietician, so that’s why I asked.
@carolynstapp4980 okay I’m going to stop you right there. It does nothing for anyone.
And I’m going to explain the rest in a new comment because it keeps going missing and this is important. I will make it work!
@@foolishlyfoolhardy6004 thank you for the information and taking the time to provide details. A little less condescension at the end of your statements would be appreciated.
I have never been SO fast! Hello from NZ <3
I’m from NZ too!
Cheers mate from NZ too
Another kiwi checking in 🫡😅
Me too!
And me.
I’m surprised there is no loose skin but he probably had it surgically removed
No way it isn’t surgically removed, otherwise the loose skin will be so visible
Would’ve been nice for Abbey to touch on that
Plus I bet it was gastric band surgery that was how he lost all that weight in just 2 years!
@@ZephHorner I think it’s Ozempic like everyone else
There’s a good comment here if you scroll down saying why it couldn’t been surgery or ozempic. He has a past in nutrition
I’m confused! If he lost 250 lbs in 2 years wouldn’t that be a 2.4 ish lbs weight loss a week, and not over 10 lbs a week as you claimed?
It would. He might’ve dropped 10lbs a week early on, but he was a big guy, I might be wrong but that much isn’t that concerning as large as he was.
Abbey’s severely wrong here, way to prove that the people who criticise her are right.
Weight loss is never linear.
@@alimfuzzy obviously 🙄 But we only know how much weight he’s lost in 2 year and Abbey says it comes out to 10lbs a week, which is wrong.
We don’t know if he lost 10lbs *any* week, it may have happened but he hasn’t said anything of the sort. Abbey just pulled that number out of her a and then starting saying it’s concerning.
That much weight lost over 2 years is not even close to concerning – that’s actually pretty good. Some weeks at the start were probably more than that and it would’ve been less than that as he lost more weight, but none of it is concerning.
@@foolishlyfoolhardy6004u r right I have lost 7lbs before. In the start of weight loss u can shift a lot a week
I think she might have misspoke the months/weeks. Because he likely lost about 8-10# a month, easy word swap that an editor should have added a correction on the screen
Avocado’s videos make me feel super uncomfortable! I’ve lost 120 lbs so far, in part from the helpful information you put out. Thank you for the sane balanced nutrition information!
I think the math is 2.4 lbs per week, not 10 lbs. 250 lbs/102 weeks in 2 years = 2.4 lbs lost per week
Exactly!
Yeah the math didn’t math for me, that whole part of the video doesn’t actually hold up.
Math. There are 52 weeks in a year. 1 pound per week would equal 52 pounds. Two years would equal 104 pounds. So, 2 pounds per week would equal 208. How are you getting that he would have to lose over 10 pounds a week to get from 411 to 200?
I haven’t watched yet, does she mention that it’s been going on for two years instead of it happening in the like 7 months hiatus from him not posting? Just asking because idk if I want to watch this yet
@@topotondo828 yeah. But she says to lose 200 pounds in 2 years you’d have to lose over 10 pounds a week.
Even if you lost 10 pounds a week for seven months, you’d still lose 280 pounds.
TBH, I turned the video off shortly after the bad math. I’m bored of the whole Nikacado thing.
Theres a lot of mistakes in this video, maybe take it down and re-record it? 10lbs a week where I think you meant 10lbs a month, you also initially said the noodle dish was 300 calories then go on to later say it was 3000. These are just a few I noticed and it might put your credibility at stake when quoting research facts. Just thoughts I’d mention it. Cheers.
Yeah I noticed those mistakes too
I think Abbey said per dish and since Nick ate different noodles dishes and of different toppings it all added up to 3000 calories.
what did you expect? shs isnt very smart (women arent smart at all)
bait. gtfo 🙄@@shaquilleoatmeal-pg2hd
@@shaquilleoatmeal-pg2hdhow to tell the world that you never felt the touch of a woman and never will:
Folks are right about the mistakes in this video. Also, I hope I’m wrong here, but idk why HAES is promoted, along with intuitive eating, but weight loss (especially over 2 years) seems like a negative?
I noticed that other youtubers are also negative about his weight loss or not just his weight loss but the transparency about it. Most of them are very annoyed by the fact that he makes a lot of money just by eating and acting out crazy.
are you new here? not sarcastic, genuine question. I don’t follow Abby so closely any more, but she has many videos on healthy weight loss, but also mentions on occasion that is not her preferred area. Not saying i necessarily agree with all her pinions in this video, just trying to answer what I am taking as a legitimate question. I would say that her argument is based on the unhealthy eating he promotes coupled with potentially harmful weight loss, though it’s hard to know.
He’s mentally ill. Whether he’s just playing characters or not, his health shouldn’t be part of an act.
Christian Bale has put his body through so much with many physical transformations for roles over the years. How is that different? He’s just acting, after all. How is that mental illness??
I havent even watched this yet but his entire journey is crazy and disturbing to me. I actually used to know Nik a really long time ago, we even met at 3 different vegan potlucks and fruitlucks he cohosted when I used to grow tropical fruits in Florida for a living, about 2 hours from where he lived. He was very sweet and very slim, maybe even gaunt on one occasion? He spoke at one of these events about his past eating disorders. I actually can’t imagine that he actually did any of this as a social experiment. I think throughout the years, so many parties brought up the problematic behaviors of the viewership of various self expoitative content creators, like Nikocado or Eugenia Cooney, and he has used that to create this storyline of his out of control ed being a social experiment. I can definitely believe that he created a character, outside of the food/weight gain aspect of the situation and I think you can look at it as a social study of the viewership, but I doubt the intention was ever an experiment that he, as a random young man with a serious ed and a history of extreme dieting (when I met him he was a fruitarian only eating avocadoes then he was a fruitarian eating all fruits and then he was eating 30 avocados a day and creatied his name etc) You can only really hope that what has really happened is that he has addressed and healed from his ed and I really hope that is the truth of the story.
Do you want to try this again, Abbey? I agree with the comments here when they mention all these mistakes…
I must not make mistakes. I must not tell lies
@@jessicacruit5770 she’s done both right in this video 🤣
Interesting thoughts on the social media phenomenon! Thanks! I don’t think you should redo the video, although I think the advertising for pre-alcohol is no good idea.
It’s so gross that he thinks weight loss = intelligence 😂
Abby, please ignore the comments bashing you for your slip up. We know you meant 10lbs a month, not a week. None of us are perfect and everyone in their life has had a similar slip up at least once, including me.
Yeah but I know smaller creators than her that use teleprompters, don’t have someone filming and probably editing for her. Even when the ranty creators I watch misspeak they put and asterisk with what them meant over the audio as it’s playing, minimal effort to not misrepresent information especially as someone who presents herself as an accredited professional.
Why not add a blurb while editing the video to correct the assumed math error? You use it to make a point about it being too rapid, when in fact he is pretty much within the guidelines.
It’s about the time he realized it’s time to start spitting the food he eats on mukbangs or else he would end up 6 feet underground. Does anyone notice CUT SCENES? Even people who are not into video editing can notice. Well folks who don’t know, cut scenes are when mukbangers actually spit food.
So Nikko is someone with odd behavior who doesn’t seem very kind himself.
He promoted horrific eating disorder and then used his wealth to take ozempic and loose all the weight he gained for views.
I don’t feel much compassion or inspiration from him.
He’s an actor – a Juilliard-trained actor, at that. What your watching is a character monologue he created in 2022. It’s a brilliant speech full of irony if you know the story but for folks first discovering him, they won’t understand.
Im creeped out by his actual demenor 😬
Abbey, about today’s sponsor: I know you said you don’t condone binge drinking, but I think it’s kind of irresponsible to allow your healthy weight loss videos to be sponsored by a company that sells genetically modified hangover cures, or maybe snake oil, to a demographic of people who may have a tendency to over consume and think you’re (wrongly, but you know…) giving them permission to binge drink. After all, one or two glasses of wine with dinner shouldn’t result in a hangover the next day, and that’s what most of us call “drinking responsibly.”
