Omad did not work for me. I lost weight but I end up crashing after a week and gaining it back. I like to eat 3 meals a day full of fruits, veggies, and lean meats. I lost 22 pounds and been able to keep it off like this. ❤😊

I had the same experience with OMAD. The weight started coming off again after switching to 2MAD.
OMAD is much easier when you are in a low carb/ketosis state. Much less cravings etc. Lots of fruit anbd veggies would be quite a high carb lifestyle. But you should just do whatever works for you.
I’m 52 and I’ve been OMAD and <20g of carbs per day since Sept 2023 and I've lost 46lbs. I feel great! Never going back, except for rare splurges.
20 g carbs per day, would be yr personal choice to maintain? Or is this what to shoot for to maintain? TY

I lost weight on omad but gained it back when I went 16:8. Could be bc I was eating a lot more but omad does work. Now I do 16:8 low carb and been losing weight consistently 😊 Good luck everyone!
what is 16:8?
Intermittent fasting-16 fasting hours and 8 hour window to eat
Can also do 18:6, 20:4, etc.

My husband and I did carnivore for eight months and it was easier than we thought it would be.
You need to wear a mic, ur voice sounds too low, besides that your information is awesome. I stopped Keto for awhile but starting back up again…👍

I lost like 5 pounds with oh then I just plateaued. It only works for a small amount of time.. and hardly sustain. But I did it for a long time..
So since the scale wouldn’t move, I went back to eating more three meals a day which was tragic because I am a natural faster and guess what the scale is moving again. Oh bad makes your body respond real fast, but then it starts to go into survival mode.. highly don’t recommend. Unless you want to sit into a dress for a wedding or something..
Also element is full of iodized salt. I have already admitted it.
So you wouldn’t buy that at the store you wouldn’t put iodized salt on your food would you? . Know you have fancy salt so why would you drink it every day?
Omad isn’t for everyone. Even if done properly, it can still affect some of us negatively at some point. One of the most difficult things about it is when you’re first starting out and having the willpower to stick with it. And cravings – don’t snack! If you’re craving something sweet or salty, your body is probably missing a nutrient. Definitely do research (I ended up getting into it the hard way after doing IF the wrong way). You’ll know the proper ways of doing things as well as what can happen if done incorrectly. Yet it can still not be right for you. Always worth trying. Thank you for the video.
I have done OMAD and felt great and lost weight… inspired to do it again since I’ve gained some of the weight (not too much though) back — using OMAD as a tool for maintenance/corrective measures sounds like a good idea — thanks!
Hi Myra– I’ve been eating keto/glow carb on a 44:4 IF schedule , fasting MWF for the past 17 months. This works really great for me. I very rarely feel hungry. I’ve lost 129 pounds (my highest weight in October 2023 was 270 pounds, I’m 5‘3“ tall and just turned 62) after a lifetime of being overweight/obese, I am finally feeling fit. I have a cheese, my goal size of a US 6, I need to lose six more pounds to reach my goal weight of 135lbs.😍 I really enjoy your channel. You are very motivating that me success is possible.❤️❤️❤️

Carnivore for over a year. Keto before that. Feel better at 67 than I did at 40
I was doing keto for a long time it served me well I lost 60 pds kept off then I decided to do intermittent fasting eating two times a day and I’ve maintained my weight then I wound up having to take “ metformin ” because my blood sugar was high diabetes 2 6 months later lost another 20 pds I feel fabulous and finally at my weight when I was 18 I’m 65 now 5’4 135 pds my hubby is freaking out he’s not used to seeing me thin. But I’m happy I’ve battled weight almost my whole life 🌻🌻🌻
I can’t do keto or carnivore because I have malfunctioning fat burning genes. So I started doing alternate day fasting I did 36 hr, 24 hr 3x a week. I started with low carb 2 weeks prior then started fasting. So far I am down about 11 lbs in 3 weeks. Still trying to dial everything in and track how my body is responding to it. It’s the only time several years I’ve lost any weight. FYI I don’t exercise because of mobility issues. I did buy a walking pad to start building stamina. Good stuff!
What blood work did you get done to diagnose the malfunctioning fat genes? I’m so out of ideas as to why I can’t lose weight.
I also did alternate day fasting at age 55. Low carb on non fasting days. I’m now incorporating a feast day that has carbs-

Carnivore challenge would be great. Would like to see what your meals would look like.
It works until you hit perimenopause or menopause. Then it raises cortisol and the weight starts coming on again. So if you are 45 and younger OMAD is great. 😊
It does work and I lost 18 pounds using that one meal a day. You help me lots and thank you Mayra. I have kept it off two months and drink lots of water.😀❤💐
